Back in my day, when I was in le high schools, we used to get out around June 1st or 2nd (which is totally uncalled for imo) and what I looked forward to was swimming at one of our two racist country clubs or..well, not much. Growing up in a small town during the summer can be uneventful - which is why you go into Raleigh to do fun things! I got to see Joan Jett and the heartbreakers for free 3 summers ago. It was awesome.
I kind of miss that feeling. I still get it in college when the semester ends around the end of April, but it's not the same. Enjoy it!
