Specs:
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E5200
  • RAM: 2GB DDR2
  • HDD: WD Caviar Green 1TB
  • Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-CM
  • GPU: EVGA nVidia GeForce 9400GT
  • Case: Cooler Master Elite 330 Black/Blue

Please remind me if there's anything I missed in the specs list. I'm not quite sure what I should price it at.. Best offer gets it, I guess. PM me if interested.

Processor Information missing or am I a nub?

Nub. :P That's the Core2Duo E5200.

What kind of PSU is it running on? DVD or Blu Ray drives? Onboard sound?

Is the EVGA warranty transferrable? If so, can you supply a copy of the receipt and original packaging the GPU came in?

eVGA warranties have never been transferable. Only XFX did that a few years ago (they stopped that last year).

Also looks like the only thing worth keeping out of that machine is the hard drive. Youll be lucky to get $250 outta that machine. The only decent thing the desktop is good for is office-based use. You will need to add at least 2 more gb of ram in order to make that desktop useful. Good news is that DDR2 memory is still relatively inexpensive (depending upon the bus speed).

If it has one, what OS is it running?

It's running Windows 7 Home Premium.

And, to the poster commenting about how you should add RAM to it.. that's my entire problem. If you understand processor architecture limits on allocation of RAM, you'd know 32-bit processors can only really deal with 2GB. There are OSes and kernel instructions that can pretend to managed more, like Windows claiming 4GB, but the other 2GB is nowhere near as fast as the 2GB allocated by the CPU.

Oh, and apologies for double post, the PSU is a 300W ALLIED A300ATX. It's just what I had lying around when I got the case and found the PSU in my last case was welded in. It has a SATA DVD "Super Writemaster" which I believe is an unbranded Samsung piece.

Im sure glad I didnt post what I was originally typing. I did some research & found that indeed the max memory you can have for your 32-bit Win7 HP is indeed 4gb. If you were to get a 64-bit version of it, you could use 16gb. Previously, Windows would only do 3.5gb of ram, so I originally understood your concern.

Overall, itll still keep the price tag & allow someone to install 2x1gb ram in the machine for more stability. Also that video card is frankly junk. My old school 7600gt could easily outperform it (based on the old school games that it can handle).
