Everyone here at edge gamers has a couple friends, they have already developed cliques and groups of people when you get on ventrilo, or start up a game you instantly join them.

How well do you know your buddy? Inside the game, and out.

In this thread, post a normal day in the life of you.

Ill start.

I wake up, to my dog eating my foot.
Take a shower, shave if needed.
Start up my labtop, run minecraft to see if Hexi added anything new to the server.
Go over to edge-gamers.com and check the events tonight.
Get dressed, hygiene my self up.
Go to school, ride the bus.
Meet my friend jillian, and walk her to class.
Start english, sit beside Honkeedonkee and have good time.
Go to geometry, try to understand.
Go to NJROTC, shine like a star in my peers eyes.
Go to World history, Mr. James hates my guts.
Go to my IT class, learn how to microsoft word.
Go to latin, speak a dead language.
Go home, repeat number 3.
Play minecraft with honkeedonkee for about four hours.
Do homework.
Eat dinner.
Watch south park.
Call girlfriend, (im texting her throughout the day aswell.)
Go to bed.
Repeat.

Let me give you a lil education. First off, Latin is nowhere near dead language, you simply just dont care of the language. I would have suggested Spanish or French class. Unfortunately, back in my day, you either had Spanish, French, or German. I figured Spanish would work since my dad already taught me some Spanish. Went thru 1 1/2 years of Spanish & got bored of it. My instructor was nice enough to help me get outta the course & into something else (cant even remember what the course was).

Also, if your having issues w/ geometry, simply ask the instructor to help you understand. You may find it hard to believe, but they ARE actually there to help you learn the material. Theyre not getting paid to spew words outta a book just so you can go on with a so-so life. Now if you just dont care for geometry, then ask for maybe an easier form of math that you can comprehend. Dont make the subject so hard on you that it causes you to fail.

Finally, for World History, do you think he hates your guts because you dont pay attention? Maybe its because you dont care for the subject?

I dont specifically remember going into World History class (tho it wouldve prob been more interesting had I did since ive always been big into History, got it from my dad). However, I do remember taking a Geography class (it was ok & barely passed it).

What im simply trying to get at is to give each of your classes the best you possibly can give. If you struggle, ASK for help. I dont think ive ever heard of an instructor whose ever declined helping their student to understand the material. We all learn at different speeds. Now I will agree with you on the English class. Oddly enough, it was the only class I failed (btw it was English Comp where we had to learn really long words & had to read "epic" books/stories that bored the living crap outta me).

I hope this has helped in some form or fashion.

Latin is used a lot in the science field that is why it is provided at schools, also it helps people understand the English language a lot more. The term "dead language" is coined up because no one uses it as there main language and no Civilizations speak it anymore.

Yeah, Mrs SAM studies to be a dentist and they use Latin all the time.

In fact Latin is used all around the world for classifying body parts, diseases and sicknesses.

For example: when I moved from Russia to UK my doctor translated all my problems into Latin, so the UK doctor who does not understand Russian would know what problems I had.

Also a lot of medicine is named from Latin words. That is why a lot of medicine some times has very weird names. For example: Aspirin originates from Latin word Aspirinum which stands for acetylsalicylic acid.



And now to get back on Topic:

Since I finished studying I really don't have an everyday system any more.
But I will try to write everything I do on my usual day.

I wake up, Turn on my PC, go to the shower (without the PC).
Then I go downstairs to the kitchen and prepare something to eat.
Go back upstairs with the prepared meal, turn on an episode of some TV series and eat while watching.
Then I quickly go through my email, facebook, edge-gamers. Answer everyone and then go downstairs again and feed and play with my 2 Ferrets (Ricky and Cooper Jr.)

Wash the dishes that I used, if not in a lazy mood.

And every second day I would cycle to the gym, workout and the go home.

Go back upstairs and aether work on Graphic design for eGO, for a client or for my self. Or get called in for a photoshoot. And then sit all day editing photographs.

In between all that I play Guitar, when in the mood. Or go out Mountain biking. And once a week I go sailing.

In the evening I talk to my Mrs on skype (she studies far away). And then I come in to Minecraft and help someone on a project or host an event depending on the schedule of EC's.

And then just before sleep I would again turn on an episode of some TV series and then fall asleep after it finishes.

8:00 AM: Wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth etc
8:30 AM: Walk to school
8:50-9:00 AM: Arrive and go to the computer lab
9:00 - 12:00 PM: Work on various research projects for one of my professors mostly involving remote sensing and correcting images taken from satellites
12:00 - 12:50 PM: Quantitative Methods Class using the R project http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R_(programming_language))
12:50 - 2:00 PM: Back to research
2:00 - 2:50 PM: Remote Sensing
3:00 - 3:50 PM: Art History (stupid elective)
3:50 - On: Grab dinner, go home, catch up on anime, homework, sleep

Tues and Thursday

8:00 AM: Wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth etc
8:30 AM: Walk to school
8:50-9:00 AM: Arrive and go to the computer lab
9:00 - 9:35: Research
9:35 - 10:50: Advanced Cartographic Process
10:50 - On: Either do more research till Noon or go home, followed by get lunch, anime, homework, sleep

Wake up around 5:45 wondering why I'm awake.
Procedure to fall back to sleep until alarm goes off at 7.
Fall asleep again until 8 and wake up at 8:40 as my final alarm goes off.
Get dressed and wait for shuttle outside apartment while the wind blows continuously.
Arrive at the Midtown Campus to start Acting Class.
Act like I'm awake.
Go to class around 12:15 and build sets.
Go to production management around 2 and complain about the actors and crew members
At 4 go to a work call till 5:30 or 6 and go eat for the first time.
Come back around 6:30 for call.
Quickly, run a dimmer check, and turn on intelligent lights.
Wait till show starts at 8
Run the occasional cue
Farmville

Turn off lights and board to go home.
Wait for shuttle.

I guess im gettin 2 old to enjoy such a funny schedule/thread. Unfortunately my schedule would be either the most dullest or the shortest schedule of anyone's.

Go to school again to have classes until 16.00. Come back have free time. Dinner at 19.00. Do hw until 21.00. Free time. Sleep

Tuesday, Thursday
Sports from 14.30 to 16.00. Free time. Dinner at 19.00. Do hw til 21.00. Sleep.

Wednesday
Go to CCF (Combined Cadet Force), come back at 16.00. Take a shower, free time. Dinner at 19.00. Do hw until 21.00. Free time. Sleep.

Saturday
DIFFERENT: classes ends at 12.00.
If theres an AWAY match, go back to house get my sports stuff, head over to car park and go on bus. Come back at 16-18 (depends on the distance we have to travel). Dinner at 19.00. Do hw until 20.30. Free time. Sleep.

If theres a HOME match, go to match field play til whenever it ends (Mostly 16.00), come back to house, take a shower, free time. Dinner at 19.00. Do hw until 20.30. Free time. Sleep

Sunday
Breakfast anytime between 8.00 and 9.00. Chapel at 10.00. Come back. Complete free time all day. (Lunch: 13.00. Dinner: 18.30)
