Recruit troubles....

Heya there guys, just a small question. How do some of you get so many recruits so easy? I've been trying to get back into recruiting lately and not a single yes . Any hints on how to seduce our pubs into members without scaring them away from the servers?

There are great guides on both the DODs and CS recruiting forums. If you don't have access to those forums, you should read the sticky titled CS Recruiting in the CS divisional forum.

Like I've told you before, it's all about being persistent. I get rejected more than people saying yes but I simply continue on recruiting. Just continue to add people and invite them to the clan and you WILL get the odd people that would like to join.

Another way is to mention some of the awesome perks of joining eGO like events, being promoted to admin, meeting new people, 6 great CS:S servers, our Ventrilo server, the =(e)= tag they will receive etc.

I have maybe 14 recruits so it's nothing big. But I believe in quality or quantity. Would you rather have 10 awesome recruits that end up becoming eGOs, ATs, Advisors, ect. or get 100 recruits and see most of them go inactive or leave eGO for various reasons. But that's just me.

Not every member has aspirations to be an Advisor. A lot of members just join to experience our awesome events and relax. I don't care if you get 50 recruits in a day as long as you alert them of the server rules and encourage them to at least get in ventrilo. An e who follows rules is just as quality/important of a member as an admin trainer.

I also find it hard to find recruits... maybe its just me, but I don't want my name associated with someone who turns out to be a total pud... I would rather have the quality over the quantity.
