I am playing 2fort today and I was scout, well as all yall know theres lag in games well i died about 5 times given the fact of lag. OMG :facewall:

I have constant frame rate drops due to my laptop being ancient

I've been noticing this as well the lag on the 2Fort server has gone up , but you just gotta live with it

Is it just the one server ? The one with 32 player set-up or others?

If it's more then one server
what are your cl_"settings"
Such as cl_cmdrate, cl_updaterate &rate?

You network speed is up/down is ?
What are you getting for FPS?

I have noticed I have gotten some lag on most servers. But it may just be because of Valve breaking stuff.

Bad maps aside, there's just nothing you can do about it. I personally have a very bad time on 2fort too.

I was having massive issues yesterday. It only happened a few times, but I got the "Lost connection. Auto disconnecting in X seconds" message three or four times in the space of about 15-20 minutes, and immediately after recovering from it, I saw bunches of people complaining about lag so I know it wasn't just me. I've never had this particular problem in the past, so it's probably Valve's fault, but who knows

This helped me A LOT! Before I did this, TF2 was COMPLETELY unplayable. There is also a Mac version, so look at that.
