Too Much TF2?

I play a little too much TF2. I switched to this account 6 weeks ago, and already I have 546 hours on. that's 91 hours a week, 13 hours a day, and this is actually realistic(well, mostly on the weekend). it's the only game I have, and I've been trying to make it fun again. Being an absolute try hard, helping the enemy teams(ubering enemy spies while sapping), even just doing nothing as a holiday heavy and watching 6 other people join me. I am getting really tired of it, I'm still waiting for responses from at least 1 of the 52 places i put in applications too, still nothing. I am still waiting to be enrolled at the college(processing).

Right, should get to the question:

Do you ever get tired of tf2? it being the same thing over and over and over again? match after match, no matter what class you are? And what do you do when you get these moments?

As for me, I'm just done with TF2 for now, going to sell all my stuff and get keys, Market them for money in my steam wallet, then get some game that isn't TF2. Maybe fallout new vegas

The best thing about TF2 to me, is that it only gets repetitive when you let it. I've only played TF2 since September, and I almost have 900 hours logged. I find no fault in the game thus far aside from my 13-20fps problems.

As for marketing stuff, don't do that :P Just keep it until you come back. Spidey did the same thing, came back, and regretted it.

PRO TIP: Fallout is a great game, and really fun. However, don't think you won't have urges to play every now and again ^^

I hope you remain active on the forums at least. Everyone needs their human pants wearing pony.

It happens from time to time, and yeah, it sucks. The best thing to do (perhaps the only thing) is to play a different game. Fallout NV is a great choice, and remember that there are other games from Steam games too. Battlefield 3 is a good one, and everyone loves Minecraft. You never know, you may just find something that you love, perhaps even more than you ever did playing TF2. Of course we would all love it if you would keep gaming with us, but it's a big world out there, and there's no point in building yourself a cage. Good luck getting into college, and remember to enjoy yourself. Whatever you decide to do, I hope you still drop by every now and then, so until then, good luck.

I agree. I don't think you should market all your stuff. I can understand getting bored of the same game-I just go and play another, or *gasp* do something else besides video games. Taking a break I can understand. Completely just writing it off the board? I wouldn't do that.

Oh, did I tell you that I don't have a job, and that marketing my items into keys is the only way I can afford any of the games? Besides going to sound stupid, but I think I've become obsessed with getting stranges and hats, it will be good just to sell all of it for a game I really look forward to playing. going to keep up on the forums, you guys are family to me ^_^ as for playing TF2, not going to completely stop, just going to cut the time I play by.......%90 XD so around 2-3 hours when my friends are playing. Also probably some events. As for me doing something else besides video games, I try. I cleaned this house, inside and out. I am kinda a shy person in real life so it's hard for me to talk to people, in fact the only people I do talk to are at some brony meetups(which probably shouldn't get into it, but becoming less of a shut-in every time) which i go to constantly. besides that is free time, and this is the only thing I can do is apply to places and play video games

I shall never leave, just going to explore a little, have fun, and plain out do....WHAT I HAVE(don't really have to) TO DO

Playing other games is probably a good idea. And to be honest, I don't get tired of TF2. But I haven't been able to play as much as before. I have less free time. >_<

Do continue to join us for events. :3

Lift. Read. Eat. Read. Study. Study. Lift. Eat. Read. Sleep. And start back again.
Also lift means jog, ride, push ups, abs, box. Life is beautiful, enjoy it, and you'll see that you're gaming experience will get much better. I suggest stopping video games and get yourself to study, work out, and finally socialize. Listening to good music, and watching good films could also be good.
Just giving my tip.

Edit: i have many music suggestions.

Boro stated my day. however, after the surgery I had last Saturday, the gym trips are prohibited.

Paths of Exile is a decent f2p at the moment. Can't go wrong with minecraft either. I'm a student so I don't have a lot of money for pay-to-play games but there's a lot out there that can be played for free.

Eh, probably should go out. though not much to look at, everything is always dead an depressing where I live. People are too busy. etc, etc. But I should really talk to more people. Need to take a break in general I guess.

Uh.

It's not repetitive for me, considering I can't play indefinitely.

But no, it never got repetitive. Nothing online, with interactions that change every time, could never be repetitive to me.

Been playing since it came out; still doesn't get boring. The magic of playing with friends/strangers keeps it interesting!

Bored of Hat Fortress? My god man you must be one of those, what were they called, of yes "hateless" people. Though I can't fathom why anyone would give up their hat or stop others from admiring their fine head ware by selling it to another but I am just a burly engineer who likes to kill stuff with guns and his fists. I myself have invested over 1,451 hours into the the game and I have not regretted a moment of it.

I'd imagine with 91 hours a week of anything, you'd probably get pretty bored of it. Take a break and go outside. There's a pretty world out there.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Perfect example of having no life

Did I mention I have no self confidence?

Haha that was (and to an extent still is) me for the longest time. Minus the brony stuff. Cuz back then MLP: FIM did not exist. I think. Not that I follow it now, but whatever. Anyway, it actually got a lot better for me in college, because I found (through what feels like random luck), friends and roommates who were willing to let me slowly become a normal (Ha, jokes.) person.

As for not having a job, I'd be willing to flip your f2p suggestion on its head and chip in a little to get you another game to play. BEETEEWUBS have you played Peggle or PVZ? Cuz they're not TF2.. but they are soul sucking and fun (in a potentially frustrating way).

Apparently you don't live in inner city Oakland.

Oh goodness, you live in Inner City Oakland? HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?! HOW DO YOU SPEAK IN COHERENT SENTENCES!!! But no, obviously you're just not being serious, right? ... Right?
