A good joy stick?

I've been having a bit of trouble flying both choppers and jets and I have been thinking that a joy stick would probably help me so does anyone have any suggestions on a good choice for one?

I tend to keep a xbox 360 wired controller plugged in and use it only when im flying. A ps3 controller would work to with the help of a program, cant recall from the top of my head.:biggrin:

I glanced at that one however it is a little out of my price range...

Yea, it's completely overkill for BF3. It has more buttons/axis than BF3 has controls. Amazingly precise stick though. Literally no dead zone.

But for DCS A-10C, it's almost a must have, and it's completely plug and play (minus the trim hat, which instead is free look).

Yeah looking at that it does seem useful but I don't play enough simulator games to need it so after looking at reviews on newegg I'm going with this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ter-_-26280020 hopefully this is not a mistake

Did they ever fix the bug for joysticks, or do you still have to remap all the settings?

What bug did they have?

I have to remap my controls still, but that's because I reinstalled the game.
