I honestly would suggest nothing other than Charter or U-verse, as nothing else works well in my experience.

This is a pointless thread to be honest. None of us know where you live and we cant tell what companies offer internet in your area along with what speeds you can get. Sorry to be blunt but we cant give you any help unless you want to give up your personal information of your address and other things. Which I HIGHLY recommend you dont.

You're going to have to do your own searching on this one Rick. Figure out which companies offer internet (and if you need it, cable and phone) in your area. Once done, figure out the prices and contract options available, and then compare it. To get the best deal and service, you're going to have to do some research and work, but that's life. Nothing's ever handed to you on a silver plate (unless you pay for it).

The best thing we could do for him is just tell him the name brand companies (Which usually could be a rip off)

Verizon, Comcast, Century Link and thats about all I know. Im sure there are many better options out there but we cant help you with the internet. Sorry.
