Last Thursday I got my beta key. Finally! Took me this whole time to get it since opt ins were opened. But I am happy! Great game!

Couple things I wanted to start this off with:

1) Anyone else here lucky enough to have grabbed a key?

2) I just started a new arena run earlier and I lost the stupidest way. I had my 11/2 buffed up Yeti and I only needed to smack my opponent in the face with it, since they had 9 health left, but my mouse screwed me over and I attacked one of his minions. 5 minutes later I lost the round since I couldn't pull the cards I needed to finish the job.

I know I saw a post here that you made Snipe. So either the server went poot or you chose to remove it.

To be fair, your thread is deep inside the WoW forum and not where others can easily find it. I never actually saw your post until you linked it. There was one other one that's in General which is old too. I just wanted to make a new one so that maybe people don't feel bad about bumping an old one.

A friend of mine won one in a contest, but already had one, so he gave it to me.

I've been having a blast. 3-0 right now in my first Arena run. Power Overwhelming + Void Terror = shenanigans. I've had an 8/8 or above on the battlefield consistently by turn 4.

I've been consistently screwing up and ending my runs at 4/3 most of the times. I get too into the flow and stop thinking what the other guy might do.

Going 5/1 at the moment, but sadly I need to run to work. I also bagged Chicken Dinner for a nice 300 gold sack. Two free arena runs! Yush!

Blech, had a slew of bad arena runs today.

It's funny putting Ragnaros out, though. I won several games because the opponent focused on him, not me.

Haha, what makes that funny is that I just played against someone whose last ditch effort was Ragnaros and having him blow up my buffed up Tiger. Sadly for him the shot hit one of my other two minions.

Ended up going 7/3. It got me 150 gold though, dust and a pack. I am happy with that reward. ^^

Throw me your ID and I'll help you play some cards. Other than that, most if it is learning what cards are there and what strategies are involved. So Youtube is your friend.

Play against the NPCs and build up your character decks. That way you'll have a variety of cards that will be useful when you start playing against real players.

The best advice is to download the game lelel.

Actually, doing a few achievements is pretty good. You get gold for arena runs!

Unlock all the Heros. 100 Gold
Get all Heros to level 10. 100 Gold
Beat all Expert AI once. 100 Gold
Play one game against a person. Free Card Pack.
Do one arena run. Arena token for a free arena run.

Then there's dailies. Do those. Play cards. Learn what cards do. Kill people. Wheeee!

I'm going to say, playing against 4-5 taunt cards is the most annoying thing ever... Why is that even possible... Fml
