Has anyone read the Visual Novel Saya No Uta?

It's not an anime. I'm not sure if it is appropriate to post here, but I am curious. if you haven't heard of it please disregard this thread. There *may* be spoilers.

I just finished it and I found it to be a very sad story at the very end. It's one of those stories that you almost cheer for the bad guys.

Aside from that, I will say it is one of the most disturbing stories I've ever heard of, but the narrative is very well done. It was also my first experience in visual novels. I was impressed by the storytelling to both endings. I pretty much read the whole thing in a few nights because I was wondering what was going to happen next. The music is amazing along with the story. It was very well made. I will say it is not for the light-hearted though. I was very disturbed when I first started reading it.

I would recommend it to any anime/manga fans who like deep stories and have no regression about disturbing stories.

For those of you have read it, what are your thoughts? Also do you recommend any other visual novels? I enjoy them after Saya no Uta.

I haven't read it, but I have actually heard of it before. I just read the teaser description on wikipedia, and it sounds interesting. I think I might read this actually.

One does not simply read visual novels, it's an experience.

I enjoyed Saya no Uta. A little weak near the start of the story, but it picked up. If you want a good one, my personal favorite is G-Senjou no Maou. I am currently "experiencing" Grisaia no Kajitsu and I have been enjoying every part of it so far. Grisaia is just so long @_@. G-Senjou is maybe a 20-30 hour play through.

Hehe, that is very true _MEGA. "Reading" is not a good way to put it.

I will download both of those, ever since I finished Saya no Uta I've been eager to try out some more visual novels. (The whole concept was foreign to me before I was shown Saya no Uta).

I would suggest Katawa Shoujo before the two I mentioned. In terms of length, it is about the same as Saya no Uta. Some nice stories too ^^
