I need to know how to gain access to the guts of my HP Envy 15.6 touchsmart laptop, I believe that I have to take the bit AROUND the keyboard and trackpad off and they are there.
I need to replace the CPU with one that is more powerful.

What my PC repair teacher and I are suspecting is that the blue bit comes off all as one plate and the CPU, Ram, etc. are scatter about next to the keyboard and trackpad.
I mean on the motherboard he showed me it used a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) slot so it wasn't solder'd in. As for buying them, you can get them anywhere I would assume, but for right now I've just been looking on Amazon...
I have never heard of any CPU maker selling a laptop CPU through amazon. When it comes to stuff like this they sell to distributors who then sell it to big name companies.
