Week 6 sucked. Or maybe I'm just bitter that my 2-game winning streak got snapped by BaCkStAb.

Match-up of week 6: Dr.Compton vs. Terror
Unlike previous weeks, this week's selection was made not due to how close the game ended up being. Indeed, the victor won by a healthy margin of 37.4 points. What was most significant about the Dr.Compton-Terror dust up is that a team that started with 4 losses in a row took down the only remaining undefeated team in Bravo. Somewhere in Miami, the '72 Dolphins have popped their champagne and are celebrating.
Don't blink now, but a potential sleeping giant may have awoken....
Meanwhile, Terror will need to quickly rebound and get ready for his colossal Week 7 tilt against fellow 5-1 team, crom.

Notables in Alpha league --
- Zer0 continues his march towards the only undefeated regular season in eGO DoD history -- even though his team wasn't firing on all cylinders, it was still enough to swat away Predator Lark's challenge with a comfortable 18-point victory. In week 7 Zer0's next challenger I mean victim is...me. Looks like Week 7 is going to suck too.
- The ronpaul league is in sad shape. Consider this -- Kiwi just lost his 3rd game in a row (to a Matzwhatz team that decided to show up for once) to end up at 2-4, and he's still second in his division. Upon further examination, the other 5 teams in the division are also 2-4...
- StealthGus still doesn't care. Still at 0 roster moves, this time he started J.Randle and D.Bailey, who were both on byes, and -still- pulled off a big 22-point win over Dodgy. Definitely a favorite to win the "Honey Badger" award for the season.
Notables in Bravo league --
- 2-time champ Efren ('10, '13) got absolutely annihilated by Sprucewayne, to the tune of a 190.45 - 66.85 scoreline. Nothing went right for Efren in Week 6, but luckily for him the all-time single week margin of victory record still belongs to Kiwi with his 148.75 point victory over Dr. Havok in week 3 of this season.
- The European rookie (tomi87) got back to his winning ways and a 4-2 record, this time dismantling Bigbird with a 148.95 - 124.65 win. He now boasts the highest points scored in Bravo, having amassed 908.80 points over the lat 6 weeks. He does face a tough test against Tumblin (4-2) in Week 7, though.

Match-up of week 8: Skippy vs. Fluxion
By now everyone has heard of the 101 point game between the Giants and the Saints, where defense was apparently optional. The Skippy (5-3) and Fluxion (2-6) match-up featured 4 Giants (Vereen, Jennings, Beckham, and Manning), so the fantasy scoring slugfest was on early on Sunday morning. High scoring supporting cast members like Marshall, Green, T.Austin, and Diggs only reinforced the drama throughout the day and leading up to SNF. With Hilton still to play for Skippy on MNF and further drama awaiting, Fluxion needed Rodgers to join in on the scoring binge, but he served up a stinker (5.45 points) against a strong Denver defense, surrendering the week 8 win to Skippy.

- Can anyone stop the undefeated Zer0 (8-0)? Predator Lark (3-5) was the last to try and fail, and Fluxion is next in line to try in week 9. Buoyed by a strong point output every week (3rd highest in Alpha), Zer0 has also been greatly helped by the fact that he has had the least points scored against him in Alpha. Whatever the case is, only 5 weeks stand between Zer0 and a perfect (regular) season.
- On the other end of the spectrum, StealthGus has been promoted from "Honey Badger" status to "Official Deadbeat Manager of Alpha league". Starting 3 players on a bye and a fourth who was widely expected to be benched anyway (J.Randle), StealthGus gifted Dodgy an easy win in week 8. StealthGus' remaining opponents? Matzwhatz, Qtip, Kiwi, Predator Lark, and finally Zer0.
- In the "What could have been" moment of the week, Qtip (4-4) narrowly lost to BeeF (4-4) by 5.25 points. Hoping to reap the benefits of the almost weekly Palmer-to-John Brown connection, Qtip was blindsided by Brown being active but not playing a single snap in the game against the Browns, giving him a big fat "0" at his flex position. What's wrong with these NFL coaches, don't they know how much us FF players have at stake each week?!
Notables in Bravo league --
- If a FF genie told you that you'd score 169.75 points in week 8, how happy would you be? Not very happy, if your name is Silent Drifter (2-6), since that wasn't enough to beat a Tumblin (5-3) team who easily posted 190.90. Silent Drifter got 116.65 points from two of his players alone (Brees and O.Beckham), which would have been enough to beat 3 other teams in Bravo in week 8. And he still lost. Let that sink in for a while, folks.
- The pace setters in Bravo and leaders of their respective divisions, Sprucewayne (7-1) and crom (7-1), continued their winning ways in week 8, albeit not with a whole lot of fireworks as their opponents whoflungpoo (3-5) and Bigbird (3-5), respectively, didn't offer much resistance. Week 9 will be a true test for both though, as they face off against Efren (3-5) and Tumblin (5-3), who are both coming off big wins in Week 8.

And then there were none. Unbeaten teams, that is. Fluxion (3-6) shook off his gutwrenching week 9 loss to Skippy to completely dismantle Zer0 (8-1) to tune of a 181.10 - 116.90 victory and earn Match-up of the week honors for the 2nd week in a row. To add insult to injury, Zer0 also lost Dion Lewis to a season-ending ACL injury.
Notables in Alpha league --
- The final unbeaten is no more. More on that below where we discuss the Match-up of the Week.
- With his 3rd win in a row (longest current win streak in Alpha), Kiwi (5-4) is starting to separate himself from the pack in the ronpaul division.
- 3 teams (DVS_Mind, BaCkStAb, and Skippy) are tied at the top of Duality division at 6-3. However, the next 3 teams are only up to 2 games back, making this division still anyone's to win.
Notables in Bravo league --
- Sprucewayne (8-1) and crom (8-1) continue to keep pace with each other at the top of their divisions with their respective 7th wins in a row. They do face each other in a week 11 tilt that promises plenty of fireworks, but will first have to get past their week 10 opponents.
- Sprucewayne may just about have C-WHiT division in the bag, but the same can't be said about crom, with Terror (7-2) following closely behind, just a game back from the division lead. This week Terror squeeked by the European Rookie tomi87, with a 1.2 point margin of victory.
