I suggested this is the dropbox. I think that a bit of the problem we're having a the enthusiasm. People will go to CT team if they need CTs. The problem is all of the new kids that should be on the T side and learning rules, going on CT side. I suggest that we need a 6 hour timer. (more or less to stop free killer) and to give the Ts a reason to go play CT.

You know what would fix all of this? jb_clouds_final5

I see a lot of suggestions for banning, seems to be the mutual course of action we can all agree upon. Someone call Idol Idol

Good Cts are born ct's and good rebels are meant to rebel.
ps nothing good forever atleast you got to see the good times, my favorite was from 2010 to 2014

Hey guys and gals, decided to put my 2 cents in.
The solution for more people to be on CT is a simple one to me. "FUN"
now i know what you're all thinking while reading this, "Well duh Jensen, it's a game, it's supposed to be fun"
But to me it really does boil down to that one simple word "FUN"

Now let me explain. I personally don't really mind being on CT or T. Hell I don't even think I've very good at CT, but I do get spammed A lot to join CT, because I try to make the rounds fun.

To me, the person who dictates 90% of the fun that round is the Warden, if you have a Bad warden or an unfun warden, It's going to be a poor round that won't be enjoyable.

There are a few reasons I don't mind and Enjoy being on CT.

1. You make the round pretty much how you want it, when warden. Being able to control certain aspect of the game while role playing is very fun in my opinion. I try to make the games as fun as possible, or at the very least I try to make the round as fun as possible. Now what i mean by that is, even if the games aren't all that fun(Frogger on Syntax) I try to make it fun for everyone. Now my means of doing that might be different than others. Sometimes while they play a game I know will take a while, I try to have out of game dialogue with the other CT's, maybe tell a bit of a story. I try to talk more with the Other ct's to get them interacting more with the game and players and not be just mindless killing machines.

^ In short I try to interact with people so they use mics more, so they seem like people not just there to shoot T's and want to interact with others, and so you aren't just listening to the wardens voice the entire round, variety is way more fun that just a solo talker.

2. I try to keep my dialogue fun. If you've heard me warden you know I don't win all the rounds, TBH I don't want to, the point is to have fun. Sometimes I try to think of the Warden spot as less of a "big tough jail guy" and more of a "Circus Ring Leader". In a way I attempt to put on a show, for the other players I try to have fun and make everyone else have fun in doing so. I try to say wacky things, maybe give a wacky order or 2. This may be the most important one for me, I know I don't like when the round goes like this "go here, go there, go here, play this, Okay LR?" Just be a bit of an entertainer :)

3. I try my damnedest to play at least 3-4 games before getting to LR. The more interaction with the map, the more fun you will have. I'm not pointing anyone out but we all know the people that do things like: "Oh hey 15 people, lets do box game and reduce them to 5 within 2 mins of the round, then lets go play race and kill 4 more. Sweet now we got LR, I'm so good!" Cmon now guys, that's no fun. It discourages others that aren't good, and they give up. I know I used to be that way, and I'm still not great at all the games lol. If you take more winners and play more games, eventually the slow racers or climbers, will get better, and maybe they won't want to rebel right away when you say the word "Race". and if there's less rebelling then the CT's might lose less making it a bit more fun for them. Also might teach CT's to be less trigger happy, haha.

^ In short: Play more games, take more winners.

RE-CAP:
1. Interact with other CT's.
2. Don't be a robot, try to have fun with what you say and do.
3. Play more games, and take more winners.

Again people ask me to join CT a lot and it's not because I can stop a rebellion dead in it's tracks, it's because I'm fairly fun and make the rounds enjoyable. At least i hope so >.> I hope it's not just the voice.

I'm sorry if that was really jumbled sounding. I never was very good at posting on the forums xD

Have a fun day everyone!!

I preferred jail when every round was riot control
୧༼ಠ益ಠ༽୨ NOW WE RIOT ୧༼ಠ 益ಠ༽୨

The games are inherently unfun, get off your ass and stab some guards.

Its always been just the voice.

Also people need to learn to shoot wanted prisoners and losers of games and not just sit there and dwindle their thumbs >.<

How about we just ban everyone who plays jail?

Like many have said above, it's the players on the server who make the game. If you want to promote a certain style of play on Jail you need to get players informed and on-board with the vision. Might I suggest someone wake up Mayhem Death and get the Event Coordinators involved. Have a couple "Welcome to Jail" events. Use this to get regular jail members to buy in to the vision and teach non-jail members how to play. Let's be honest here, the whole Jail concept can be fairly intimidating to the n00b. Teach people the ropes in a non-threatening environment and they'll be more likely to join the server on their own later on. And that adds players who understand the eGO vision for the server.

Now that you have a core of members projecting that vision onto the server, host a couple recruiting drives specifically on the Jail server. Players there have already been exposed to how eGO wants jail to be. Give them a chance to buy in. I think with this two-pronged effort you'll have the community you want in under two months.

And if anyone objects, ban them.

all you need to do is get bloodybunny, foofoo, nighthawk etc back to play jail and then u have good ct's lol ;)

I read up to "ban everyone from Jail" and I couldn't agree more.

This could be something good though, I shall deeper into this. Possibly with our Jail Boss
