Exactly this. Except my old monitor isn't the same size as my newish/current monitor, so it actually bothers my eyes to have both of them. So I generally just play anime off my laptop if I am doing something else on my PC.

I struggle with this too. Similar size but different colour.... I watch mostly off my MacBook, at the end of the day now.

First 19 episodes of Darling in the Franxx were on point. Later episodes kinda dropped the ball a little (for me anyways). Last episode was somewhat redeeming. Overall was a 8.5/10 for me.

I have completed....
Overall I thought it was pure fun and enjoyable. Great way to learn a bit more about the industry - as someone who works in TV, I can relate to a fair bit of it. Definitely worth a watch I feel. I was a bit nervous about it being 24 episodes long for what it was, but overall didn't feel my time was wasted on any episode.

Just got done watching The Irregular at Magic High School. Frankly I did not think I would like watching it since there are plenty of animes like this, but I really liked the science behind it. Was a fun watch to my surprise. I'm not the best at rating, but I think I'd give it an 8/10.

Give the books a read. There's a lot more detail that the anime doesn't get a chance to cover. I wish that they would do more seasons of this anime, as I enjoyed it a lot too.
