This is gonna be a straightforward list of DOs and DONTs when wardening. Keep in mind that this is based on my own experience, and I am no means saying that if you do or don't do these things, you are a bad warden.
DONT:
DO:
There's a common misconception that doing cancer commands will get Ts killed and get you to LR quicker, but this ends up not being true just because games that take 50% are more efficient. The worst wardens are the ones that do these commands and literally giggle as they spray down stacks.

There may be some stuff I missed, I'll probably edit it in later. Hope you enjoyed the read.
DONT:
- Use AFK Freeze. Why:
Unless you're taking warden after the previous warden died, This makes your CTs tunnel on stack, and less focused on rebellers who run away from stack. It also increases the chances of baiting, and is generally annoying for the Ts as well. Instead just use freeze when you don't want the Ts to move.
- Use crouch or shift walk. Why:
This is unnecessary, annoying for the Ts, and wastes time. The only times these commands are reasonably used is when the CTs are really close to stack, or you are moving the Ts through a tight area.
- Repeat your commands excessively. Why:
Once is enough; if people are talking over you as warden report them and repeat once. Repeating your commands can lead to confusion, especially since as humans, we tend to make mistakes and accidentally say something that we didn't mean to say.
- Keep the Ts in once place for too long. Why:
This kind of falls into not delaying the round, but is a specific issue that I see come up a lot. People take a whole 2 minutes to give bomb st out of cells, while all the Ts are just sitting in a marker bored.
- Delay the round. Why:
This is a pretty general thing, and comes in small ways. It means not having the Ts stop at every marker, it means not pursuing rebellers yourself unless absolutely necessary, it means not having a conversation with Fred the guard about what kind of toppings you want on your pizza that night while being warden. Basic stuff. Its annoying for the Ts who are just going to be waiting in a marker, and makes them more likely to rebel.
- Be cancer. Why:
Really, this is so simple. Just don't do 1-step-out-of-your-cell-face-the-back-afk-freeze-and-****-your-uncle-joe. Its annoying, wastes time, and violates a whole bunch of other stuff. Furthermore, nobody likes to play luck based games. 1 marker lives is a great example, its just kind of annoying.
DO:
- Be Efficient. Why:
This means a lot of things, playing multiple map games, moving the Ts to other places quickly and efficiently. Getting out of main cells quickly falls under this category as well.
- Be Interesting. Why:
Every map and game is always the same except for the occasional update. Rounds can become very monotonous if you do the same things over and over. Switch things up a bit: Play games that are rarely played, come up with new custom games (Examples: tag, sharks and minnows, Unique "cancer" jumps), be entertaining, try to be funny. Anything helps.
- Be aware of your surroundings. Why:
This is kinda self explanatory. You won't die as warden as much if you know where the Ts are.
