how does one change player name in game -dod source there is no selection under multiplayer for this? I have forgotten how-thanks

I think your forum name is linked to your in-game name, so you'll have to change your forum name to change your in-game name. Correct me if i'm wrong, that's just how it works on Counter-Strike, which is also a source game.

This is for eGO servers. If you want it on other server in dods, just do it through steam itself.

Gower DoD:S only applies your appropriate tags - it doesn't change your steam name.

Hey B Brewmaster , you need to go into Steam, and go to the "friends" part. Click your name there and then change it to whatever you want by clicking "Edit Profile Name". Technically on eGO servers you are supposed to retain your name the same as the forums. I know your current intention is to not take the admin refresher course, you can speed up the leaving process by posting in the "Contact Leadership" section and asking to have your admin removed. Alternatively, you can make a thread there requesting to change your forum name as well, if you'd prefer that.
