There is many ways you could punish people making a problem out of super speeding. permanently removing a expensive, possibly limited time vehicle should never be on the list. I personally believe that it is a problem with many people but not everyone, dont punish the community as a whole punish the ones that make a problem out of it. I personally speed a lot, but if im being pulled over i stop and pull over, even if i am super speeding and take the ticket and jail time so i dont make a problem about running from the police after speeding. This is about the people that are speeding so they decide to not stop. i would say for the select people who prove to be in that category should be punished heavily for a reputation they have built, Make them think about it. But with me, im just trying to have fun in my fast cars, not run from the cops.
With the people who consistently dont stop for police after speeding, or people super speeding in general should be fined heavily each time until they learn that its not what they should do OR you could raise the jail time substantially for them it will make them complain and annoyed but they will live and keep playing the server.
My statement is that this new car thing is that if i am being pulled over in an expensive limited time car for super speeding, knowing it will be taken away. I will simply run more often than i do. i wont pull over if my car will be taken away. and if it is removed from the garage that breaks your judgement on "realistic" as if its in the garage, through rp it would be hidden out of sight and without any knowledge of anyone taking it away and it just is gone thats not roleplay at all. If this becomes a problem and i lose cars i dont think ill stick around long after.
Out of Character
Server Rules said:Operate Vehicles Responsibly
Vehicles should be operated responsibly and realistically. Vehicles should never be ramped off bridges or high inclines and expected to continue forward, they must be roleplayed as immobile. Additionally, vehicles which realistically can’t operate on major inclines or terrains shouldn’t. Finally, no vehicles should be operated inside of a building – keep them on the streets.
Above is our rule concerning the operation of vehicles. Underneath this rule, it is entirely unrealistic to crash your vehicle at over 100 MPH and expect the vehicle to not be completely totaled. This also includes the act of ditching your vehicle into the ocean to avoid the police. Your vehicle would be totaled beyond repair. If you crash your vehicle at a ridiculous speed during a police chase or even ditch it in the ocean, your vehicle will be subject to a permanent seizure.
Also included in this rule, would be operating your vehicle at a high rate of speed. It is entirely unrealistic for someone to use their super expensive car for crime or to run from the police, reaching speeds over 150 MPH. It is also entirely unrealistic to consistently reach triple digit speeds in the city limits. You would not have the space to achieve such speeds safely. Also, those who own these vehicles IRL, would not put their investment in danger. So again, if you are caught super-speeding multiple times or breaking a certain speed, you will be subject to having your vehicle seized.
The leadership team and staff of the PD have had enough of what has been going on. This is a realistic roleplay server. You are expected to act accordingly. We are fully aware that the Cops vs Criminals aspect is a big part of our server, but there comes a point where enough is enough. These vehicles are a luxury item, not a necessity. When we reset the server, the players wanted realistic car speeds and the team agreed as long as things were not abused. This included making the police car speeds realistic.
Finally, before this comes up, this is not because the cops are consistently losing in pursuits. This always seems to be the argument. It's about keeping things realistic. If you feel the need for speed, there is a perfectly good race track in the sky to let your car stretch its legs.
And for the record, I do not enjoy making posts like this. If you have any questions, post them below.

I think we should switch to muskets and bicycles
I wish civilians or criminals for that matter would use junk cars when doing crime or running from the police. Why would you want to run in your personal car thats registered to you that would result in an arrest coming your way.
