Part of votifier/SuperbVote is there is an option for a lucky reward on voting. This allows for more overpowered perks to be given out for voting, but without breaking the economy or making anything too overpowered.

Voting as everyone knows is one of the best ways to bring in new players to the server, and while the bedrock price hike has been a great motivator, I believe more perks would just amplify the voting turnout.

My suggestion is to add a percent chance, maybe 5% to give a temporary flight voucher (maybe 15m of flight) where players are able to fly in the over-world to build whatever they need, more efficiently. Ideally, this voucher would be given in an item format so players don't have to line up voting with their task, and they can additionally sell them for profit if they need the money.

I am sure there are plugins out there to do this, such as: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/tempfly.54987/

However if LE wishes for custom features I can make the plugin myself to fit EGO's specifications.

How are we supposed to tell the difference between someone who is fly hacking and someone who just has the perk? Flying defeats the whole purpose of survival in my opinion, and with having the chance of flying, it will make admining more difficult. You could not (from what I assume) properly admin a situation because you will have no idea if they are hacking or not... it raises too much uncertainty.

I don't see it fitting well on our server; however, I do like the idea of percentage chances on items... instead of always getting cake, you get a percent chance at a more valuable item.

I appreciate the response!

Here are my thoughts on your take.

Admining the Situation: Spigot's API gives a strict method for allowed flight, meaning it would be very easy to tell the different between someone illegitimate, and one who is using the perk as they would constantly be rubber-banding and the flight would not be smooth at all. However, if this is not clear enough I could write a command like /flycheck which simply tells a user if they are allowed to be flying at a certain moment. Plus it would be relatively obvious, it is rare that a fly hacker would make it to the point in game where they would have such a rare item.

Fitting in: This wouldn't be an everyday perk, and it would not likely last more then 15 minutes. It would be a small percentage that gives a small, niche advantage. As for ruining survival, I think it's important to remember it is possible to get a Efficiency 21 (26 with super breaker), Unbreaking 1000, Fortune 100 pickaxe. Plus, there are elytras, the only difference being the control-ability of the flight. Overall I think due to the (great) gameplay modifications on the server, 15m of flight (rare) isn't that game breaking. In any case, if you don't wish to disrupt your typical playstyle, you could sell it for money in shopworld.

To add to your other comment, I think it would be a great idea to add more chances, and maybe even make the flight super rare (1-2%) and add a diamond block as another reward.

+1, as long as its a luck based thing that 1/20 people get that seems fair

Reading over Garrett Garrett comments and what some of my concerns were, I feel this would be good for the server. +1 for me

Hey Garrett Garrett ,

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, we have voted against this suggestion. We were simply not attracted to the idea and felt it wasn't worth the effort and resources for implementation.

Keep the suggestions coming!

Stay safe and sane,
