In CSGO Jailbreak, the Warden can perform a "Cancer Jump" which is just a skill jump. Wardens are able to make a single attempt at a skill jump in a location, and if he doesn't succeed in that location, the Warden can just perform another one at a different location. This allows the Warden to waste time, leading to an unfun round that makes Jailbreak stale. If skill jumps are restricted to one attempt per round, more time will be allowed for a larger variety of games that appeal to a wider skill group.

+1. I think this is a great idea. This just makes sense.

This rule is already covered as an implied rule. Admins on the server should be able to moderate on this with discretion where they see fit.

  • Games that are custom (not a map-game) must not be too difficult unless the warden can successfully demonstrate it in no more than 1 attempt.
  • Games must not delay the round, and they must be productive (there must be winners/losers).

(there must be winners/losers).
honestly with this rule in effect, cancer jumps (that dont immediately kill the warden) should be outlawed because you don't know if you're going to make it or not which risks potentially not taking winners

There definitely needs to be a rule overhaul in my opinion. Extending off of this idea, custom games such as full dodge course, primary secondary melee, full death run, etc..... all don't follow this rule. I've heard from admins that the warden has to offer the choice between a custom game and a... another custom game?? Having a choice also isn't anywhere... in the rules...

As for the original suggestion, I think Jacko perfectly clarified the situation. Cancer Jump is one game regardless of the location.

well primary secondary melee aint a custom game, so that could be an option that warden could give.
One marker lives, psm, (basically any "toxic" quick lr games), are perfectly fine. If any warden is actually giving the choice between a custom game such as joke day and a custom game such as full dodge, you should report them.

whats even worse than that is giving the option between a opinionated game and a "random game" in my case my team took the gamble and it was 1 marker lives which is so toxic it isn't even funny.

Enlighten me, what makes a custom game a custom game? More importantly, what makes them "perfectly fine" and not cancer jumps? It's the same logic, all games should have winners, both cancer jumps and the above listed games could result in no winners.

Edit: the rules make a exception for luck based and opionated games, and it doesn't apply for prisoners that couldn't complete the game unless the warden can discern the "furthest" or use hot lava.

So the two above exceptions make it so that both luck based games can kill any amount of players, and that cancer jumps can kill any amount too.

I think the answer to that question is anything that does not have a built in feature to help, so for say a cancer jump may use map features but in most cases you are using them not in the way the map intended for evidence on clouds when doing diving board to goal cancer jump you are using a diving board but not the way it is intended therefor it is a custom game.

another approach to the whole question is in a normal custom game like trivia can you do it twice, NO even with a different question so cancer jump should only be done once even with a different spot.

its a custom game if it isnt mentioned in the rules or otherwise mentioned by an admin. If you are unaware about what games you can play as warden, just don't play them.

Luck-Based Games
You must not play any luck-based game unless there are 20 or less Prisoners alive, and it must not be the first game of the round.

A luck-based game is any game that does not require any skill and instead requires 100% luck, for example: couch game, duck hunt, roulette, wheel of fortune, keep or pass...etc.

See, in your argument you collaborate luck based and custom games as the same, when they are far apart.

Custom luck games, like one marker lives, must require a 25% chance to live.
These are labelled custom because it requires t's to make a decision between places, these places are complete chance because the warden chooses which one lives, but they are still custom.

Primary, Secondary, Melee is a luck based game because the t's do not choose where to stand that would be impacted by the warden's choice. The warden may hold out a weapon but the t's have no POSSIBLE chance to change so.

Ya get what I mean?

The opinionated game rule was recently updated. Hopefully this change will help alleviate some of the previously encountered issues.
Opinionated Games

You must not play any opinionated-based game unless there are 15 or less Prisoners alive, and it must not be the first game of the round.

  • You must tell Prisoners what the game is before giving them the choice to play or not.
  • Prisoners have the choice of whether to participate or not.
  • You must have a regular map game with default rules as one of the options to choose from.
  • Prisoners must not change their mind once they have chosen to play or not.
  • There has to be at least 2 winners.
