Counter-Strike: Global Offensive So Confusing lol

Hi all,

Soo after quite a few attempts of trying to get into CS:GO in like 10 years, but still not feeling the same excitement as I do over CS.1.6, Source, I've decided to give it another go. I read the rules, even spectated a couple rounds, but it is soooo confusing What do you think is the best way to learn how to play JB, or TTT? Any advice? I don't want to join a game and get yelled at because I have no idea what's going on

Maybe someone can explain the rules to me in a simpler way like I'm a 6 year old lol.

Um if you're free sometime this week I can help. Honestly reading the rules, then going in game to figure it out really helps. Just use common sense and figure out what would ruin other players' experiences and don't do it. Understanding the game more makes it even more fun, especially for TTT, but there is a small learning curve

JB:

Be a T:

Ts: Follow the commands of the warden, he will try to get you to a map game. Play, win or lose (you'll die for losing), that map game, repeat until 2 Ts are left. Or, try to rebel, leave the warden, find guns, kill his CTs, etc (Risk of death).

Be a CT:

Enforce the commands of the warden, kill the losers of the games, kll people who try to rebel (Not recommended for first timers).


TTT:

Be a Inno:

Find some guns to defend yourself, if someone shoots at you for no reason, shoot back at the them. Click "e" (to I.D. them) on bodies when you find them.

Be a Traitor:

Find some guns, kill everyone that is not a traitor. If you get caught trying to kill some one, they will try to kill you.

Be a Detective:

Use your taser to scan someone and see their role. Then just play the same as an inno. This is the only class in which everyone will know you are that class.

1) Have a law degree for the insanely petty rule arguments you'll get into with the player base.

2) Never take gun ST.

TTT:

1) No matter what happens, you were RDM'd.

2) When you are a Traitor, your fellow Traitor team is made up of semi-brain functioning primates that are hopelessly smashing their hands into a keyboard.

3) When you are a Detective or Innocent, the entire traitor team is literally Seal Team 6.

I played CS 1.6 and source for years and years, every time I played CS:GO I just couldn't get into it, tried once in awhile and just went back to playing source.

Stumbling on the eGO TTT server is actually what got me into CS:GO, I sucked at first and then I became the best player in the world after only 30 minutes of gameplay - it's a lot of fun once you get into it (and not that confusing), if you spectated JB then I understand your confusion there - you'll be even more confused after you play so best to stick to TTT
