Rule in question:

Suspicious Behavior
You should NOT kill carelessly and without reasonable or valid evidence or justification. You ARE considered to be careful and reasonable by identifying a number of suspicious acts below that would logically indicate they are a traitor:
Being the survivor of a gun-fight, or someone nearby a body - be alert, don't be mindless - identify the body and communicate.

The wording says "by identifying a number of suspicious acts below" NOT a SINGLE act.
It also says to communicate.

The issue with this wording is admins are enforcing that this is a Traitor act, and not a SUS act. The rules clearly state you need multiple suspicious acts to indicate a traitor, NOT ONE.
People are also not asking you to ID a body, they are just immediately killing you. Even if they did not see you kill the person. This amounts to numerous innocent kills (RDM). Again, no communication.

Either change it to a traitor act in the rules, or have admins enforce the correct rules.

I mean you still are communicating by calling someone out as sus, giving a hint at other that he might be the Traitor.

Which is the point of the gameplay, but you cannot assume the winner of a gunfight, especially if you never ID a body for example, but straight on just shoot down the guy who won.

I am not sure who are you reffering to, but I really do believe that admins that play TTT, do know what is a traitor act and what seems to be sus. Provide us with an example of this being treated the wrong way.

Also if what you say about being killed before you ID a body, that is considered RDM if you weren't seen, so you should be reporting that in admin chat. Some people sometimes are just scared that they will be shot by the guy who killed the player, so they just kill the guy before anything, sadly enough, however that's still considered RDM (unless you turn away from the body's vision range, which renders it enough for a reason to get you killed.

That was me quoting what the exact rules stated, not me saying people call out others as sus. They do not use that rule as a sus rule, they use it as a traitor rule.

Literally my point? So you shouldn't just kos/rdm for an unidentified body?

I have reported rdm to admins multiple times for being killed before I was able to ID a body. Yet have been told multiple times that not identifying the body is kos-able whether or not you saw it. So nothing is done about it. My point isn't to get anybody in trouble, just fix the wording.

I have also witnessed multiple times, someone getting killed for not Identifying a body that was at an angle they couldn't see, but the other person could. It doesn't make sense that it would be a reason to kill someone, considering most T's identify bodies they kill anyways? It's usually innocents getting killed for no reason.

If the rules specifically state to communicate about an unidentified body, you should be asked to ID it before being killed.

All I am saying is if the majority of admins are enforcing it this way, and the entire server is saying it is also this way.. maybe it should be moved to traitor act instead of a sus act. OR it should be reworded so people can properly understand it. Most of the rules, not just this one are vague. I have been told that the rules are being reworked soon, but this is going to be an issue until fixed. I'm not the only one seeing it, or experiencing it, and someone's round shouldn't be cut short because the rules have room for confusion.

I mean you cannot just kill someone just because you saw them over an unidentified body for just a second. However if said person, turns away and runs off without saying anything, then it justifies you killing them instead.

If you never saw it, then there is no reason for you to be killed by anyone, and if something like this happens, it is labelled as RDM, as you have had no idea what was going around there. I am not sure who told you different on this specific thing but this is not how it goes.

Well IDing bodies is part of someone's game strategy. None forces anyone to ID let's be honest, and if you play it out smartly, you can use that to your advantage and get someone killed (if you are the traitor in that situation). However if someone kills you, just because they could see an un-ID'd body and you couldn't, then you should report that anyway (stating you had no vision to it whatsoever).

If the rules specifically state to communicate about an unidentified body, you should be asked to ID it before being killed.
While I really do hope sometimes that it would work like that, it sometimes is impossible where this is a lot going on around there, and people do not want to die, so they go out of logic and kill the guy they "think" did it, which a lot of times leads to just RDM, because they most certainly never had any real proof it was that person that they killed. (Most people asked about this just say something along the lines: "I knew it was him." or "But he was a traitor", which doesn't justify RDMing anyway).

All I am saying is if the majority of admins are enforcing it this way, and the entire server is saying it is also this way.. maybe it should be moved to traitor act instead of a sus act. I do agree that a better wording on some of the rules has to be done (and not only), as it doesn't really fit things anymore the way they are written (People were more laidback with such situations, so it made sense to not need to change things too much). Unfortunately people nowadays keep repeating the word "KOS" over petty things that are hardly worth SUSing someone out, and then newer players that do not understand/know rules, are just following this, causing a chain RDMing situation quite often. So I'd say it's mostly the bad mentality of some people, alongside some of the rules that people try to push to the limit sometimes, that leads to all of this.

The rules were designed for specific instances and situations regarding the players. The current wording is intentionally vague to allow for the admin trainers and leadership to further define and clarify the rules according to server needs. This is also what keeps the servers punk-free. With that said, there is definitely room for improvement in some of the phrasing as you suggest. We just have to be consistent with what made our style of Jailbreak the most popular of all time.

This is for TTT not Jailbreak…

The rules for counter strike are all connected with the same general rules. In other words, if we are rewording on TTT it is rewording for Jailbreak as well. That is my opinion based on my logic sorry if that seemed out of place sometimes I don't explain myself well enough the first time.

Sorry but TTT and Jailbreak are separate rule pages and do not need to both be changed. The problems being experienced due to wording are in TTT and that does not relate to JB in any shape or form. I’m advocating for change in TTT, please don’t try to combine the two.

I don’t think ttt is this serious, personally.

usually I sign on, shit talk, get killed, waste a few hours, sign off.

rinse and repeat .

but I commend you for your dedication to ensuring fair and enjoyable game play.

It isn't that it is super serious, people come to our servers to have fun and enjoy their time, if a certain rule is too vague to be undertood then it needs to be reworded, people don't want to play if there is a consistent issue of rdm based on how the rules are written.
