In 2012 I decided to get a laptop I saw advertised for $160. I stood in line starting at 3a.m. but by the time I got to the door the laptops were sold out. Since I waited that long I just had to go in and see what deals they did have. I purchased a 42" LED tv (in 2012 Plasma was dominant LED was the hot new thing), a blu ray player and the brand new XBox Elite which was hot. Now here we are 9 years later and those items are unopened and still in the boxes they came in. I realized Black Friday is a motivational event designed to manufacture frenzy without regard to need.

Never again.
