Had a warden that would kill off one T with a map game like colors, and then would play luck game after luck game.
Alright Ts this is one marker lives…
This is Primary Secondary Melee…
This is roulette, pick a color…
This is shoot or don’t shoot…
This is toxic and 100% swappable. Warn them, then fire, and swap them.
Admins
should be swapping for toxic uses of games, just like for toxic kills. Games are supposed to be fun and productive for the server. Of course, a little craziness can happen. The CT's have to get some fun in too. However, there is a line. This line is discretionary. If someone is doing as described above MSWS, they should be swapped/fired. I consider that the extreme past the where the line of toxic games should be.
Personally, I do not see this happen as often as I hear people complain about it.
As for the suggestion, I disagree with it. The game has its benefits with low time and there are even a few map games that do the exact same thing as one marker lives, if not worse in some situations. We don't outlaw map games, so unless you want to open a whole can of worms, I would just do the following solution:
I get that some wardens use it to be toxic.
Warn them, then swap them. We don't want only toxic games.
"Hey man, you've done one marker lives the past 2 rounds. Chill out and play some games. We are here for fun yk?"
That is the simple solution. The issue with the game isn't with the people that it's bad, it's just like any other luck-based game. The issue is with the people who abuse it for their own toxic fun.
TL;DR: Leave the game as it is. There is no reason to change it except for the fact that people
could abuse it. The solution then is to swap the people who abuse luck-based games like you would swap a CT for toxic kills.
