Who's gonna run and manage it? Rust is fun 100% and I recall redchance (and Godzilla and co for a bit too) spending a metric ton of time to make sure it remains fun and interesting for everyone, so the better question is if there is someone (preferably multiple) to do that, outside of hosting/renting a server and its cost.

The real issue is who would provide tech support for the server. If someone or people were willing to step up and provide their time to a server the rest can easily be managed. I think redchance did that at some point as well if Im not mistaken. But yeah thats lowkey the major bit that is needed for things to remain smooth throughout the server's life.

JuVe913 As much as I appreciate the mention. I could hardly keep things bumpy when I ran things, let alone "Smooth". lmao I was a forced fit. Somebody else could, and probably would run it better.

There is a reason I mentioned both of you! It did keep Rust servers fun for a while nonetheless while u two were around, either alone or together, and there was a reason why people want it back after all. Might be even more worth it, whilst CS community servers feel abandoned by Valve as is atm.
