Pure Server

Rotational Pure Server I had heard there is a lack of competitive pure servers that are decently ran anymore.

This could be a possible test server to test its "rankibility"

a pure server means that no one can have skins on it and stuff...i have tons of skins and love them, so i wont polay there

They allow you to customize the look of your game. Basically a skin is a file that replaces the standard look of your players and weapons in game. Some feel it is cheating because some skins are easy to see than others making them easier targets.

I used to always get the realism packs for CS1.6 because they were generalyl higher polygon and made the game look a lot more realistic. Amazing some of the things skin makes could pump out of that engine.

I think skins are silly now with more powerfulc omputers out and also the developers generally doing a great job of creaint default skins.

Pure servers would make sense to some people in games like CS:S where you can mod the behaviour of the weapons, eg, my friends M16 has iron-sights instead of a silencer so he can headshot easier.

I'm pretty sure thats impossible in TF2.

The worse that could happen is people skin the characters to stand out a little more. They can't alter the hitpoints to make headshots easier or anything, so it's not really a big deal to be honest.

What does pure have to do with crits? Nothing at all.
Pure server = no custom stuff ?la skins
Vanilla server = no custom server options like instaspawn, valvemaps only or 32 slot servers. 100% how it was intented to be played.
