Music Spamming

I have been told by at least 3 eGO's that playing songs over each other was called spamming and you could warn and if it keeps up kick for it. Should this rule be strongly enforced along with door spamming when people are trying to get out of the doors shutting them so other t's can't get out? What do you think?

On other CSS servers, I just ban people for mic spamming.

I don't see why rules are so lax on jail.

Well, I've always warn/kick/ban'd such individuals and never got any protest from advisors/DLs.

music spam is always incredibly annoying. I personally listen to my own music while playing, so having this conflicting noise really bugs me.

What is door spamming? I've played on jail server for the past 4 nights and the only thing I'm certain of is that I don't know what you mean by door spamming.

I have my theory of what I think it is but I'm certain it's wrong so I'll wait for your explanation.

Door spamming is when someone opens it and another closes it on someone and it kill or blocks them from exiting and i was talking about music spamming playing songs over each other

Jail Mod Regulations​

This regulation, "rulebook", will alleviate the majority of the loop holes and any misconceptions made about the server rules. Also, it will solidify the rules, so it will protect the integrity of our servers.​

READ and FOLLOW these simple rules in the server:

1. Follow the Rules!
2. No Foul, Degrading, or Racist Remarks allowed
3. Do Not Block
4. No Disrespectful Sprays are Allowed
5.. No Cheating, Cheat Scripts, Map Exploits or Hacks Of ANY Kind
6. No Arguing with or Impersonating an Admin
7. Do Not Disrupt The Server In Any Way
8. Support the Admins And Other Community Members
9. Use Only One Name While Gaming Here
10. DO NOT PESTER ADMINS

Now I don't play in Jail (heck I don't even own CSS), but as laid out above, this seems simple enough to me:

• Playing music over the mic is considered spam, and is disruptive to the server. It is against the rules.
• "Doorspamming" allies is a form of blocking. It is against the rules.

Both issues should be dealt with appropriately by admins (Warn/Kick/Ban). There is nothing to vote on here.

I have seen door spamming used as a tactic to rebel on several occasions so i think as long as its not one person making it a problem that should be left alone. I think the "NO BLOCK" rule was more for the good old days where we could stand on each others heads lol.

Also, do you mean music spamming as in when CT's play multiple songs at once at the disco?

I think this question should not be asked.. It should be already be enforced. I don't see how the spammings different from any other server...

see now we know what your talking about. everyone thought you were talking about mic spamming. IMO i think ct's should choose a DJ and that dj should choose the songs. i hate going to disco and hearing 5 songs at once. instead of assigning "wardens" and stuff, now we can also assign DJ's!!!

We have set guidlines and regulations for rule breakers already in place. Don't worry about the admins we know what we are doing. Also, sometimes that involves banning people isntantly. Some examples include racism and innapropriate sprays. Also, a note to other e's, when an admin in a server makes a decision, ESPECIALLY in jail. Don't back talk them publicly or complain. If you have a major issue with an admin be mature about it and contact an advisor.

Honestly, the only 2 maps you can overlap music on are lux and alcatraz_pre-final.

Its the not fault of those who are playing on said maps but more of the map makers fault for not preventing this from happening, plus on pre-final you can block the music thing from coming down. Problem solved. Or even easier don't go to discos.

Door spamming its going to happen if it takes to long then threaten to kick, but don't actually do it unless they're still not listening.

Another thing a lot of rules are being made up such as you can only have Ts pick a maximum of 2 Ts to die, no thats not a real rule. You can tell them they can choose 1,2,3,4,5... anything reasonable not "well you get it right you can choose 10 teammates to die". If I catch anyone making up rules, may the people who made CSS help you.

Lastly stop making these polls, threads, or whatever about whats going on down in Jail. There's this nice big clause in the rules that you would know if you read them which Im starting to think that some people haven't or these things would have been answered.
