I can never download a map from any eGo server, it dosnt matter what game it is, tf2 dod css all of them i cant, any ideahs??

This is most likely a firewall issue of some kind. On our kid's machine, we have downloads restricted through the Vista parental control and you can't download maps. So if you are having the same issue, I suspect it's being blocked through the firewall or some other source.

You can, however, download the maps from another source (not in-game), that should do the trick.

Make sure you have enabled "allow custom files from server" under options -> multiplayer.

OK for a start, what happens when you try to download? What does it say?

Hm, I reinstalled TF2 meaning I had to re download all the maps. I tried to join a TF2 serevr with a custom map and it said the map is missing.

Just manually download the map.

Existence, that is a server setting issue. One which eGO does not have, I believe.

When a server tells you that the map is missing, ether the server will not allow you to download the map from them, or its a small bug, to fix it rejoin the server.
