I always play on the office server, and since the introduction of the new bank system i've noticed a large tilt toward terrorist wins.O.O
maybe its coincidence but it seems the t's are able to get their weapons of choice more consistantly that the ct's
or is it just me

i kno wat ur talking about, but i think it was just that one game that t's totally killed the ct's, its usually pretty even

Yeah, ts usually win more, but i think its because they have a map position advantage, not because of the weapons. I personally think the ct's weapons are better. I havnt played too much in office, so I don't really know if it's because of the bank.

War is neither glamorous nor fun. There are no winners, only losers. There are no good wars, with the following exceptions: The American Revolution, World War II, and the Star Wars Trilogy.

Yea, all the T's do is camp projector, it's tilted toward Terrorist because of the objective of the map. Its easy for the terrorists because they know where the CT's are comming from there are only two different ways.

Ak47's are cheaper and the new bank doesnt give that much money so more T's are able to afford Aks than CT are able to afford M4

CT's aren't being very tactical then, give me a couple flashbangs an a deagle and i'll take em all on

The teambalancer we used does not work correctly with the new version of SM. The SM developers changed a SQL call function which doesnt allow the teambalancer to recieve data from the SQL server. I had to take it off. Im currently trying to find a replacement or a better option.

In the mean time, its up to our members to keep the teams even. If you see another team getting rolled. Switch. Its that simple.

The flow

Yeah, i was there for that game...i believe it was 19-1 or 20-1 terrorists? I started off on the terrorist team, but quickly realized it was ultra stacked so i switched over. As a CT i did okay, but the ownage didn't stop. I have a hypothesis on winning CS:S teams.

Fact:
The starting skill level of the players on a team can provide an advantage, (regardless of their team or map), if grouped together.

Hypothesis(open to criticism):

Section 1.1:
  • (a)There is an in-game 'flow'.
  • (b)Teams that are aggressive and confident in individual rounds will most likely win, even against a "stacked" team.
  • (c) Teams that win a round will most likely be aggressive and confident the following round. Therefore, creating the opportunity for a chain of winning rounds.
  • (d) Teams that are using frequent verbal communication will, consequently, have increased coordination and teamwork.

Section 1.2:
  • (a) The principle that the 'flow' can be switched allows any team to change the entire 'flow' of the game in a single round.
  • (b) To go further, this principle can lead us to a bounding conclusion. The game itself becomes a fight between the dominant 'flow' and the recessive 'flow'.

Hypothesis: Any team, regardless of player skill level, can dominate the entire match if they use frequent communication, act aggressively, and display confidence in their team.

hm... i would say its becuase of the map the t's have a clear advantage being able to camp becuase there is only 2 doors a ct can come from to grab the hosties so it's probably the map but u can still dominate with an m4 opposed to an ak D:

Interesting observation red, may be the CTs should just get better.

is it alright then for a admin to swith people if needed?
correct me if i'm wrong but were not supposed swith teams, but if no one changes team after a "admin all" message it might be necesary

u need a team that works well as a team for a good ct team T team usually just works out and plays around what the ct's do
