Student creates Counter-Strike map of school, gets kicked out of school

That's kinda dum. Kicked out of school for making a map of it. What's the harm in that?

It's not the fact that it was for a game, but it could be taken as an act of terrorism, for example (student #1 says: Dude I saw your map, lol bombsite in the cafeteria. STUDENT #2 hears: bomb in cafeteria and calls the authorities.) The school did the right thing.

Lol, dude my friend made a map of our old school, and made it a zombie map for 1 player, it was creepy!
Oh and i totally agree with you seaNNN.

Maybe he's just trying to test out his mapping skills, and didn't know what to do, so started with something familiar, that he knew the exact layout of. Frankly I'd make a map of my school, because i know it like the back of my hand...

This is just another sad example of the over-reaction machine. Thanks to people like Jack Thompson, who spew lies and half truths, people are extremely on edge and on the look out for anything that makes a person different in school.

I think I can sum it up nicely. Just because I play violent videogames does NOT make me a killer. If I make a Map of my school or college, Its because I want others to see what I see or think its good enough to make a decent level. Im not planning to kill anyone or blow up anything.

This is ridiculous, I mean it's okay to be paranoid but this is way over the top.

SO sad...

This should not happen. Video games do not make us killers... I agree with the people that say there is an important reason in having ratings... It is the responsibility of the parents and the dude/girl who plays that particular game..

and also Slash, Monalisa?? are you kidding me.... that was way over exaggerated..
