eG vs eGO Rematch?

Rematch for eG vs. eGO Dog Tag Scrim?

For the eGO's that were left clueless after the eG's epic rage quit,
-Most of eGs never played Egypt
-Thus we were not aware of ideal Sentry Spots
-Not aware of effective chokepoints
-Not aware of routes that would greatly help in victory
-Custom Textures caused:
-FPS rates to effect some gameplay
-eG's to not play EGYPT (before the scrim)

So, i suggest we all take a vote, to see the TF2 Division's opinion whether they would want a rematch, with the choice of the map.

It's not like once you become an eGO you're an expert on egypt. The only map I really know is dustbowl, so I just went soldier even though I'm better at pyro. We had one or two eGO's that played regularly? Rellik was amazing at leading the team based on his knowledge, I'm sure at least one eG played egypt.
The point of these scrims isn't to just have everyone play on their regular maps. Try some new maps. Now that I've actually played egypt it's not that bad.
 
It doesn't make sense to me that you're saying that none of the eG's have played egypt before and somehow all of the O's had an advantage because they play the map on a day-to-day basis. If you recall, we had a problem with no admins ever being on the egypt server. My main maps are 2fort, granary, dustbowl, goldrush, and badwater. I personally hate the egypt map. I've only played egypt twice before and that was before the update/patch, and yet I still managed to get in 3rd place on my team. The map has been available to all of us for the equal amount of time and none of us (except maybe Rellik) can say that egypt is a server we play on regularly.

Plus, it's not our fault you all rage-quit after losing 5 times. Slam!
Also a high-five for the three eG's who were mature enough to handle a fun, competitive event.

We all play on the maps chosen by the events team and sometimes we are familiar with them and sometimes we aren't. It was poor form for you all to quit before the event was over. As TP said, there is a lot of respect for the three or four eG's that stayed and played until the end. You'll have your chance against us again soon.
 
I'd like to attend this "scrim" if there is ever a rematch.
 
Egypt is a map we offer on a 24/7 server....wow

Thats a very good map guys. I think more of us should spend time in there anyways.

There will be a rematch next go-around. All the eG's have to do is beat the e's. After this past performance, good luck with that :D

Isn't the next version of this going to be e vs eG again? You better get the practise!
 
wow, this is why I have a problem with competive compition within the clan. (and so does some of the leadership)..............

Word to the wise guys and gals, The event coordinators have things in the works for more inter-division scriming.

But when posts show up like this. I'm not sure we can handle it. I realy hope that we can try and show some good sportsmenship in the future.

Yeah no joke, I really tried to get into this event but it was full, SO i assumed it went well.... rage quitting ? Man, I just couldnt bring my self to abandoning my team-mates, no matter the circumstances... just couldnt do it.

Remember it's easy to take written comments in a post out-of-context all too easily. Ultimately, everyone, it's just a game.

There will not be a "rematch" as in "replay". The fun part of the Dog Tag scrims is you know there will always be another opportunity to exact revenge in a rematch down the road.

So, eG's - start planning your revenge. Talk amongst yourselves. What tactics did the eGO's use? How can you counter them?

eGO's: Congrats on a good win. However, no time to get too proud, the e's are itching to take the O's on soon....

As for the map: The Event Advisors (Tattis and myself) chose the map and kept it secret from everyone.

While everyone is welcome to submit suggestions, ultimately we'll be the ones choosing them...

Let's see. We've played an attack/defend map twice... what will the next map be? :)

No kidding. I couldn't get in either. I guess from now on, I'll leave it on auto-join til it's over. :D

Yeah, it's a great map. I spend time playing on it quite a bit--it's too bad I wasn't there for the scrim, I think I could've really helped out the G's.
