Disrespect, not here!

Allright guys, ive seen way too much disrespect going on lately, and i tought i'd make a little friendly review.

So when you applied to eGO you agreed to the rule, and you read the START HERE THREAD So you as an =(e)= should know the rules. It happens sometimes you let a little slip, we will correct you with a friendly warning such as "[NAME], please watch the language your a =(e)= you know the rules, Thank you" Nobody is perfect, even I myselft as an e have been warned for language as I didnt know perfectly the rules. But the fact that you let a bad word slip for the 1st time is not the problem... It's when after our friendly warning you reply something very disrespectful such as " WELL THIS GAME IS RATED M" or "SHUT UP!!1!!1!" you shouldnt say that its very disrespectful and could earn you a kick or a ban.

The other type of disrespect i see most on the server that i find really really rude is when you say to someone "NOOOB!!!! YOU FAIL!!" or "Wow get out if you cant play" and other little sentence that hurts other players.


I know most of you are great and wouldnt do those things, and we know who you are, and you will soon be rewarded! We also know who are doing bad things! Remember being mature and having a great attitude will get you promoted

EDIT: Also =(e)= if you witness someone acting inapropriatly and there is no admin present, you can do something about it. You can warn them and if they continue you can call an admin in the server. You can also if its too serious post a ban request!

Agreed. Another thing, if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't talk. I know it sounds minor to call someone a noob, but seriously words mean a lot.

I agree with you on language and the name calling, except the fail part. My opinion on that is if you say it in a disrespectful way yea well that's mean, but I and many others have joked around and said fail on many occasions. Just saying it as friends and really not meaning anything by it. Its all in the tone. But good good thread!

I definatly agree with you on your post cake, lately i've seen some disrespect going around while playing counterstrike and it should stop.

And with the saying, i think that if the e members are being respectful to others (especially to regular pub players), eGO could bring in alot more members

Joking around is different, you joke around when you have a mutual bond between someone (i.e. Friends), other time you say it to people who you don't know, like a random pub/ new member / ect.

Yes indeed, with your friend its different. But if you do it to lets say "NEWPUB"
You dont know how NEWPUB will react you dont know him.

but if I say to frap "Haha frap! Fail nade " its different since frap is my buddy and i know he doesnt mind, and he wont take it seriously.

Ive witnessed a few cases of swearing becuase of people getting mad that some people are just too good for them, but instead of rage quitting they take out their anger by swearing etc..

All of the admins in eGO try their best to keep the server clean. However nobone is perfect and we may let one 1 slip. But i assure you that all of our admin are trained and know what to do in most of the situation.

good points cake. Respect is something we stress here and it's very important that there is no disrespect, it takes away from the game experience.

Very well put cake. And friendly remarks such as me to you like "hehe, cake that was fail" and small things between friends that aren't meant to hurt someone are fine but things that you stated are however, not. There's a fine line between funny and disrespectful and sometimes people don't see that line.

I absolutly agree. Two nights ago on our dust server named "mic" was being a compleate jurk to everyone including myself. Normaly, I dont mind language but on one of OUR servers, its intolerable. I warned him to stop but he just told me to "STFU". Unfortunently no admins were on. im gonna add him to the ban request now. Anyway, thx for the reminder.
