Star Wars: The Old Republic

i dont know if it being an MMO is going to turn the real fans of the series off to this game , most people fell in love with the game desighn and game play of the first ones . the E3 covrage footage was awesome for a cutseen we will have too see , i know i will get this game ....

Been prayin for someone to do rite by Star Wars since I gave up on SWG back in '06 and Bioware gladly stepped up...and set it in my favorite SW era no less :).

Smuggler definitely looks to be the way it was supposed to be. I remember the SWG devs talking about their concepts for Smuggler, i.e. "Dirty Fighting" and Moving Contraband and so forth and then never following through.

Bioware, it seems, is going to do right by all and not only make the smugglers their own unique creation with the cover system + the "dirty fighting" close-quarters battle concept that has always been part of a Smuggler's repertoire.

I look forward to nut-crushing you all w/ my knee very soon.

By series i assume you mean movies, and to that i say that the movies dont even cover half of the cool stuff. Like the madalorian wars, and Durge himself could have his own movie. I know..im a nerd.

Ya man, i was really dissapointed with SWG it couldve been so great. But now we have a great company doing it(Bioware) and theyre being funded like crazy lol. So just sit tight TOR still has more awesome stuff to come.
 
E3 wrap up

Not much new if youve been following it lately. They went over the gameplay stuff and the kind of story arcs youll be dealing with stuff like that.
 
It just keeps looking better and better... we are going to have to make an eGO clan when this thing comes out!
 
The people at E3 had gameplay to show off, but only to other developers. Apparently a lot of people got to see and it wrote reviews, and it got amazing reviews.
 
I belive they said that game play will be released in a few weeks. Ill try and find that link...
 
I am definitely buying this game... I'm going to the Light side.... yep... thats right... not going to follow EVERYONE else and go Dark...

Tor will be like play kotor 3-7 so i wouldnt count on it.
