I play alll the time and i love the servers BUT when peole come in and have a 500 ping to a 1000 (which happens alot) they jump all around the screen makeing it very unfair! i play for rank and get very upset when a player blinks out the screen the reapeers 50 feet away aiming ast me and kills me takeing my hard earned points! so my quest. is, Can there be a rule agains hugely high pings that exceed....i dunno...300 or so?

The servers already auto kick for people consistently over 400 for extended periods, a true 400 ping anyway.

and no there isnt a limit to how bad there ping is but from what has happened in the past that i seen, if a player had a horrible ping and interfering with the server box and laggin everyone i seen u could ask them to plz fix ping, thats it tho, so IDK if a advisor or DL could explain this for all of us

This is an issue that has to be handled with discretion, as it could be seen as descriminating against foreign (Non-North American) players. That's probably why it is set up the way it is.

ok guys sounds good thats the reason i ask these questions thank you for all ur advice i accomplished my goal tonite and made it to 1rst place rank in sniper server im excited so i guess its all good anyways! thanx for ur advice again!

actually a slow Internet access DOES NOT and WILL NEVER affects the performance of the box. If everyone is lagging, it is the box itself, or someone is hacking it.

it is our policy not to kick anyone for their ping. And in fact, a few days ago I played on Ava server for about 30 minutes and was at average of 300 pings. I had a ping rang up to 700 for a couple minutes and didn't get auto-kick. I am not sure what is the time set for the high ping auto-kick. It happened to me all the time because I have to share my box with so many users in one house.

I know it's hard to play it that way, but just you know, even a 80 ping means "lagging" to those who has a ping around 1 - 20.

Also, high ping only means a delay in motion on our screen because of the slow transferring rate that the client (the one with higher ping) is able sending to and receiving from the server.

i know many people play for ranks, but i am sure you guys can overcome these lagger like me.

obviously?? i dont enjoy it?? lol i LOVE this game! i relaxed when i was a noobie and couldnt hit water if i fell outta boat, now im good and have a compettitive drive. i have fun and rank up at the same time...... but thanx! everyone bringing up the rank thing telling me to have fun lol I DO, the ping rule is cool i know the maps in snipe server only last 30 minuts ok and the server high ping timer thing must be longer than 30 min so the 900 pingers never get kicked which is fine, and is why i asked ther first questionl. once again thank you, but if u have a 700 ping and are lagging it is not fair for the other people trying to shoot you and everyone knows that, i dont care who u are, blinking in and out of the screen while running makes or breaks a shot for a shooter on opposite team ( usually breaks)!

In response to your question on why you can't find yourself in Global HLX rankings; the global rankings don't register kills/objectives on custom maps (sniper maps) and since this is all you play you aren't even technically ranked anywhere in the global ranking

Trust me as a former lagger, It gives you absolutely no advantage over other players if you are hopping all over the place.

Simply because you don't have fun with stats dosnt mean that everyone that does dosnt truly enjoy the game. Its a rather unfair judgment. But i do agree with your last sentence.

This is a global organization, so i dont really know what you wanna
achieve with this. However i do agree that it's annoying if someone has a ping of 500 and is blinking his way through the map. But i often have a ping of 140 and to be honest, there is no big difference from having a ping of 20.

The ping you see in game has no effect on your own ping and therefore we do not police it.
