Pretty sure it's going to be used on ALL classes. Soldier is just handing them out, because "Everyone deserves a medal".. well more like 11k people but w/e

Valve really tries to push a a good community for TF2 so I guess they reward people who read their forums.

I got my medal while I was at work and I did it on my phone! I saw the thread here and logged into steam via my Blackberry. ^_^

It was found at the end of a long and painful series of teaser/hidden pages that were found. Every page in the update had a rare and random chance of one of the images being a link to a hidden page containing cryptic information (I'm too lazy to link to them). Each of those pages had a smaller chance of one of the sections of the page also linking to another secret page.

The soldier page was found at the end.

i'm glad for all of you who got medals, i was trying the KOTH maps at that moment, but is ok, it's a nice reward to all of you guys who had problems with the update and/or just wanted to be in the forums at that time.

i think it's a great idea (the medal system) and the real deal of it it's (like someone said on steam forums) that valve now has a system to give items to specific people (hope mapmakers, modders and really good players get theirs!)

I got one! ^^ I'm so happy! The "Misc" section on characters makes me happy as well. Who knows what Valve is up to, now!
