Just got mine in the mail. :S Its very anti-climatic.

I do not think you will be able to trade this medal when/if the trading system gets implemented. Your medal is not in your backpack, just like your original weapons. This means you cannot select it (to delete it for example).

How do you know they're not being randomly given out along with the hats?

Also the medals make me feel like sunshine,rainbows and lollipops.

Don't worry, no one's more pi**ed than me right now.. I signed up for it, and every other person has there medal but me. Mine simply never game, or my idling program automatically deleted it.

I'm pretty disappointed =/

Hmm. you are looking in the soldier misc section right? It dosen't show up anywhere else, not in the backpack or anything. I just got on, went to Loadout->Soldier->Misc and it was there.

I've tried everything and looked everywhere. I posted on the Steam forums, and tried all of their hotfixes to no avail... I've played for like 6 hours today and still nothing... I was using an idling program while I was at work today, and that was when the medals were released. It was set to delete duplicates, but that was it. I didn't see anything in the program about receiving the medal though.

When I first got mine it didn't show up in the backpack either. I played a few rounds and it popped up that I had found it just like all the other items. Since then it's been in my backpack.
