Bootmgr, is also used in windows xp load after windows 7 is installed, as the way ntldr loads has been changed. uncompressing the ntldr loader should fix the issue, and its worth a try.

I applogise for that my boss walked past, If you boot off the windows XP cd, and in recovery console, type CD \ ATTRIB -C NTLDR" Will uncompress it, and should fix the issue. Dave

Easist way, grab a windows XP disk, when it asks to go into the recovery console hit R and in the command line it gives you type FIXMBR followed by FIXBOOT and this will fix your issues.
