"Gay" Rule

Hi, i'm here to complain about the Gay rule.
First of all, i don't know where to post this.
Anyways, i find the Gay rule discrimination.
I know you can't use it for flaming.
Like:"Ya ******!"
But you can use it like:"Hey guys, my friend is gay"

First of all, why would you say that?

Second, the rule says that you cant call another person ''gay'' or ''******'' in a way that is discriminating the person, or is used as a insult.

Some admin moaned at me for having "ghey" in my name
Appearently you're not allowed to have you own sexuality in your steam name
But I'm sure having "I'm a hetro" in your name is fine...
Strikes me as odd tbh.
