i personally don't find it noobish if you stick with one class, except the pyro. Pyro takes no skill to be decent. But if your good with the soldier, there's no problem with sticking with him. Not everyone has the greatest skill with him... me being one...

Well whenever i play payload, i like playing the heavy. What i do, although its not very well recommended, i jump on top of the payload and let it drive me around, it works well with demoman stickies, but not too great with snipers...
