well..about the card...when the card is used, the monitor has red lines on it...showing that I have a video card problem

this is what it is...as u can see there are 'darker black "smudges" on the surrounding of the gray thing i'm not sure that EVGA would accept my graphic card (this is part of the graphic card btw)

i got ya and i don't overclock it lol EVGA would accept the Geforce 8800 even it has thermal paste all over the gray square and part of the outside cover?

yes that's true, but i feared that if EVGA would see my graphic card that has thermal paste all over the gray square and part of the outside cover, then they might won't accept my graphic card and won't get a replacement for my card

my manufacturer is EVGA it's not the heatsink, it's the gray square thing that is attach to the outside cover

less likely, can this be a physical damage to the graphic card? NVIDIA said that they would accept my graphic card, but won't accept the card if it contains physical damage (i didn't do anything to it at all)
