I can bench 235+. Conditioning is a passion of mine. 4% body fat =P I work out ALOT. Not as much as i used to, since i got a broken leg and all...

dang man... thats like the exact opposite of skin and bones.. kinda like, muscle and... well, more muscle

you guys should all just try plyometrics ( resistance training).

i work out, and i bench 120lbs on the regular. I do 3 sets, 10 reps each, flat, at 130, then i do 3 sets, 10 reps, of 130 on incline, then 3 sets, 10 reps, of 115 on decline, and by then i'm spent..

but how much CAN i bench? ...if i stretch first, and didn't lift a pinkie before hand i can do 10 reps on 195 (that's my max out, i've tested it and literally ripped every muscle in my pectorals..). but that's not what i work out with, it's for fun when i don't feel like working out and just going nuts for 50 seconds.

can bench my friend who is give or take 150 lbs (10 reps) with ease... I'm 15 yrs old, 200 lbs, with 14% body fat :)

dude benching, not a very admirable skill...

either way i dont know, i dont think i have ever even tried maxing out on a bench press. Never really found a need.

Weights are for chumps.

I exercise through endurance swimming and running.

I get all the muscle I need and I actually enjoy exercising. Pushing things is not as fun as moving around.

I'm a big guy though, 6'10" and 300 pounds so I assume I'd be able to lift a lot of weight.

I lift some weights to keep myself tone. But I'm more into yoga which is much more benificial to the over all well being of body and soul.

Back to the Topic:
the lifting of large chunks of metal up and down is a waste of time for me
what is weight lifting preparing you for? A good work-out is one that is fun and that you can enjoy or will do all your life.

bringing back dead threads is a specialty of mine! lol im just a little guy, 5'6" 186 lbs. i currently bench 315. im a us army infantryman. i was a power lifter in college. when i was 21 i weighed 147 and pushed 325 with a lot of hard work and dedication. diet is a must. high protein, good fats, and complex carbs along with a lot of sleep. im going to try for 400 lbs by thanksgiving of this year. my strength sucks because at work people expect more out of me, but its helped me save my life and a few others with a combination of strength and cardiovascular endurance. dont be afraid to put down the mouse and keyboard and go for a run! i dont know how much i can squat, but i can run with myself ( and a full combat load) and a 220 lb man ( and his full combat load) on my shoulders for a few hundred meters.
