Should i switch to ie or opera?

I am using Firefox right now and i like it.

Can yall give me your opinions on ie and opera please also tell me what is great about them .

I switced from IE to Firefox and think it is so much better. I would just stay with Firefox if I were you.

I have been trying to help you with your video problem but you wont let me. You fight me every step of the way.

If your going to switch to either IE or Opera - switch to opera. IE is terrible. Period. Especially version 6. Opera has a ton of advantages, and so doesnt Firefox. It's usually personal preference between those two, and I love opera. I'm not going to list out which features they both have, they have alot of features and you can read about them from their respective websites. In the end it doesnt matter much which you use, as long as its not IE.

What type of video problems are you having? Is it that videos are not displaying at all or is it that when they do play they are not playing correctly?

If it is either of those two then you probably dont have the right codecs/flash/shockwave stuff installed.

As for browser i cannot stress the above point that greenmonkey made. There is nothing else to say on that matter lol

If you have Vista and IE7 its not (cough) that (cough) bad. But I find it hard to reccomend IE to anyone ever. Traditionally I reccomend FireFox because it is self explanitory and feels similar to IE, so it is an easy transition. I <3 opera but it takes the willingness to take the jump and while in the latest version they have fixed all the old problems I tend not to reccomend it to people who dont already know about it because sometimes (it used to) take some finangling. Even when it used to have problems it was always faster to load webpages than IE and FireFox. And I am pretty sure that it was the first and for years the only webbrowser to pass the Acid / AcidII test. I strongly think you should get your problem with Firefox taken care of and stick with it, otherwise IE may be the best bet for you since some webpages require it exclusively, and there is always tech support for it if you have a problem with anything else. Plus its never good to let a problem lie in a computer system, it only haunts you later. If you do decide to try or use opera exclusively You should be pretty happy just dont forget to update it as they fix things often. It works for 99% of everything I do and rarely do I have a problem with it. But it does happen, just like it happens with FireFox.
