I would say I don't care about stats, but that's a lie. Stats earn people respect and respect is invaluable.

If ranks didn't exist at all, I would probably enjoy the game more on certain occasions (when I fail). But since they do exist, on occasion I go to random servers where I genuinely don't care about rank until I want to go back to eGO servers (which never takes long).

Ah well, I would say try not to care about stats Cl!ff, because we all know you're too damn good!

I'm getting some weird stuff on my "events" list on the HlStatsX.

I pretty much only play on the regular 2Fort server for eGO, and it keeps saying I am getting killed by or getting kills on other people on other servers such as Dustbowl and the like, even with weapons that I'm positive that I wasn't using at the time.

It's a bit strange really.

For those who say don't care, I don't tell you guys to care for stats, why tell me not to care then, we all have different motivations to play the game, just let everyone play the way they want.

And I don't want to discuss the hlstats or anything, just want my problem to get fixed, other concerns or such just use the dropbox for it.

But I dont care for the points a lot, but I do love to have a nice kdr and such and because of my kill deletions and such drives me nuts.... Just want to fix this now, I have this problem for over 4-5 weeks now and still nothing is done, while the solution is so easy, just erase my entire account in the hlstat system and I am more than pleased.

Just want to get things done, so Agent, if you read this pm me about what you can do for me or just post it.

It seems like it is possible for people (I don't know who can or can't do this) to add details to HLStatsX pages, like their name or homepage or ICQ or whatever. Someone did this to your page, and I agree that was probably not nice or professional or respectful. I took it off.

As far as I know, nobodys stats are being modified. We have set the max retention time for things to 7 days, but that's because the database gets completely out of control otherwise. Some stats are global (ie, they count everything, like your points) and some stats are only from the last week (ie, who you've killed and who has killed you). You can tell the difference because the ones that only count the last week are generally marked with a *.

I hope that explains why your stats change over time. It has ALWAYS been this way - just before, when we were on HLX "premium" the reset time was four weeks, and now it is just one.

We've also been having glitches, I know this. Some of this is because a bunch of servers moved recently (and the stats app is slow to update this) and some is because we're still working the bugs out of the stats app for our uses (sometimes, the daemon that keeps track of things crashes). Please stay calm.

Yes, thank you for deleting that twisted name, but I knew about the reduction in recording the days of the stats, I have no problem with that since I don't look at that a lot.

But if you just sum up for example the kills devided by deaths, it just won't tell the real kdr, the kills as well as the points are deleted, what is just weird, even more that it has happened a lot of times already, probably the one who added the real name can do a lot more than just that, that is what I am trying to find out, what is actually going on.

I won't bother you with it anymore since you already have a lot of things on your mind, thank you for your help, but still think that deleting over 35.000 points is a bit weak... even more weaker is to delete someones kills....

Well guess I would have some serious killing to do now on the servers to get it up again
