Jail is beyond fixable?

Alright listen,
People are stopping playing jail because of how it has become.

There is a time limit for a reason
When the timer hits 000 the round should be over. ROUNDS SHOULD NOT GO PAST 000! People have to wait 10 minutes doing NOTHING because the round is going on too long

Wardens
Stop wardening if you don't know how. Watch other experienced people do it, then you do it. Also, when you are warden don't talk about random stuff over the mic. We don't care what you ate for breakfast, we don't care what color car your moms brothers friends daughters uncles grandpas son has. You need to be official, to the point, and not off topic. Don't spend over a minute giving orders. Take the 30 seconds before the cells open and give orders. If orders are not out before then you do not deserve to be a warden. Make sure you can enforce your orders, don't say go to the park and give people 2 minutes to get there. Give them 30 seconds or so and kill them if they arn't there. Some of this is getting ridiculous.

Special Treatment

Alright, everyone really needs to stop giving ST to 5 people every round and telling them they can do whatever they want. NO MORE THAN 2 SPECIAL TREATMENTS EVERY ROUND. It is not fair for some people to have special treatment every round and then for the other people to do trivia all the time. Seriously, stop doing it.

Trivia ALL the time

This one needs to stop. There is other stuff to do than trivia. Do you know how boring it is to start playing jail and do trivia for 4 rounds straight and wait 10 minutes just to do trivia again? It's ridiculous. There is other stuff to do in every map, including luxury jail and the more simple maps. No one likes spamming 4 or 6 or Washington DC over and over and over again every round. Atleast if you do trivia make up a different trivia game or do different questions. 2+2 SHOULD BE BANNED from trivia.

Talking over the warden

This one is simple, if you are talking over the warden you will be silenced for a few rounds, no questions asked.

Picking people in clan only

When you are an =(e)= and you win trivia, try and pick other people that arn't in the clan and mix it up a little bit. Half the time a person in the clan wins trivia the people that arn't in the clan always die first. It's not fair to them just because they arn't in the clan doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to play the round anymore. Also, as I said before stop giving ST to clan members just because they are your friend. How does this make the other people actually playing feel? I've seen many people leave because all clan members live and get ST every round.

These are just a few things that need to be fixed, if I see any more next time I play jail I will add to it. But please try and work on this so people will start playing again.

Great post. Also thanks for mentioning the "pick pubs to die" thing. I hate it when I see e's going " Hey pick all the pubs to die!" Gives them a bad impression of the clan

When im in the server I try to get people to speed up the rounds because it gets horribly boring flying around in spectator.

If everyone just tells people to get it going then hopefully the rounds will not go past 000

If rounds stop going past 00:00, Jail will be so much better, people wont leave from getting bored waiting and there will be more time for more rounds.

I really don't like how people get st every round, I saw a guy get it and he just joined.
Yea and when I'm warden I try to lay off trivia, I try inventing games.

This is what stopped me from playing Jail. If all of these things are fixed, Jail would be such a better place to be.

these are all the reasons i left jail and went to the zombie server but ill gladly help in any reform of the server =)

Sadly I feel that part of the problem is that often people (myself included) play on terrorist in order to constantly rebel and prey on the inexperienced CTs/Wardens that dont know of all map secrets and rebelling strategies. I recently have taken to trying to play CT in order to pick up the slack where things need to be picked up i.e. move rounds along and to provide some much needed support to quell rebellions. Maybe some of our more experienced players can play some more CT and keep things in check.

I know it is more challenging to rebel and the team work over vent can be great, but I really think that some support is needed as well.

I agree with Frap's post 100% and think it covers about 1/4 of the problems.

I joined eGO because I loved the jail server here I thought it was really well run and all the members at the time were swell. Now I can't stand to play on our jail server due to OUR members. I dont think I've been on over 1hr in the last 2 months.

Yeah Ive been playing the jail server and had those problems... once we had to do trivia for 9 rounds straight and I kept being killed because I dont have the tag on CS:S, Well said!

It it much more fun if the CTs can quell rebellion and keep some interesting games going. In other words I would love to see some of the more experienced players play CT a little more!

No offense to anyone, but we also need stronger admins. I realize kicking is harsh but, I'm sick of hearing "I'm an easygoing admin" or "it's being handled" or the eG/eGO in game just completely ignores a blatant situation. I was in game and there was an e, eG and an eGO all arguing back and forth over mic about how to get someone signed up on the forum for 2 rounds on Zombie, before I asked them to be quite. I as an e am to be held to a higher level, well whos going to set an example of that level. because lately I've seen some pretty poor behavior out of some eG's. I know I've done/will do things against the rules and when I'm corrected you can bet your buttons that it'll not happen again!
