What's going on guys? You'll be seeing me around the servers more often since I've just installed INS. If there are any tips you guys could give me so I don't get mutilated too much it would be most helpful =D

See ya around.

Do not run and gun. Look for cover before you move. Always try to work as a team. If one person sprints past you, peek around the corner and see if you can give him suppressive fire. Not only does your teammate stay alive, but you get the kills.

See you in the servers!

Hey BWoods, good to see you in INS's neck of the woods ;)

Shoot them before they shoot you and to always take cover, this is INS not TF2 you can't dodge bullets that well... you can try, but I don't think you'll be getting to far. Game play is a lot slower than TF2, all this takes some time to get used to. Contact me if you have any other questions :)

Happy hunting,

TF2 is a lot more run and gun based around casual gameplay.
INS is more of a tactical shooter, where one shot to the chest can often kill you.

As they've mentioned, you'll need to utilize cover more than usual on this game, it will be your saving grace. In addition, you need to get used to bringing up your sights on the fly. Hip firing can be useful in some situations, but make a habit of using your sights whenever possible. You'll get the hang of the game, it may take a bit though.

Good luck.

dont u mess with me and... please, when u see me AIMing... get out of the front... im bad, like steven seagal...
joking, lol, welcome, feel free to add me on xfire

Well as no one has as mentioned it, feel free to join us for boot camp on Thursdays, and Sunday School on, well, Sunday. :) I'll also route you to a thread that we all contributed to awhile back, but it is still relevant.

Your more likely to be killed by someone on your team if there name is Grunt, then by the enemy.

I'm still trying to learn how to rocket jump...

It takes a lot of skill and infinite luck. However, that being said I have seen it happen. I was falling when an RPG fired several feet away from me around a corner. I managed to not take enough damage to die from cover/distance but was close enough to get pushed upwards.

I was excited to say the least.
