The card is not worth the money they are asking for it. Save your money and buy a 300 series card that will be out in a few months.

I think it's way over priced. For that much ($1654 US) you could easily go for a 2 5870s in Crossfire, save $700, and have better graphics. That being said, it does look cool.

You'd be better off getting two cheaper mid-high end cards. Besides, that monster's going to demand a lot of power and cooling.

AS OF RIGHT NOW, GO GET 2x5870 if your mobo supports it. It is possibly the fastest setup.

The new high end Alienware desktop just posted benchmarks of around 75 FPS in Crysis with an i7 975 @ 3.3ghz and 2x5870 in CFX

The mars edition GTX 295 is not worth the money or performance

Scrap that. Imagine TWO 5870x2's.

5870 = ~4000PPD.
5870x2 = ~8000PPD.
5870x2 Crossfire = ~12,000PPD.

GTX 295 = ~12,000PPD.

GTX 295 = 2x 5870x2(for folding). Not so amazed.

Get 2 295's for about the same price and cure diseases that are caused by proteins misfolding twice as fast.

If your gonna spend that much money on a card wait for the Nvidia 300 series to come out and buy a couple of 395's or whatever Nvidia calls them.
