Killed by a smoke grenade?

Even though only 6 unlucky people have fell victim to the fatal smoke grenade, i think its important to discuss... How one gets killed by a smoke grenade?
- The only way i can see is if someone is barely concious and gets hit on the
head with a smoke grenade.

Also, you can choke on smoke from smoke inhalation, the medics in the field then didn't have portable oxygen setups to treat smoke inhalation. You can get a splinter from the wooden handle which gets infected in combat and the skin slops off and you die from that. The grenade can poke your eye out and thats instant death, you can be running and you trip on the grenade and bang your head and die from closed head trauma.

You can get hit in the head by the grenade, get sense knocked into your skull, and realize what is important in life....

Okay, i found out that you must have EXACTLY 1 health, and be hit with a smoke grenade.
You CANNOT die from inhalation in DoD:S

rifle grenades don't do enough damage when they hit someone directly either, I'm thinking 10-15 depending on the range and place on the body

yea you need 1 hp, and you need to be hit in the head with it, i think if you get hit in the body with it at 1 hp it only takes away like half, so it has to be the head

dude you have to have 1-2 health to die by the smoke grenade and its soo awsome to see someone die by it lol.

I've killed one person by it before, a year or so ago, nearly fell out of my chair........... most awesome kill I've ever had. It was donner, he was in the tank house, laying down by the allies entrance watching the tank, think he was AFK, so I jokingly tossed a smoke at him, popped him in the head, boom, kill........ sooooooooo awesome.

I've never been able to do it again, which sucks major gonads, but once was awesome.

I think the points mod should be 15. It's so rare, that people would be trying to kill each other with smoke nades for the points !!!

Nice, Knuckle. I've seen one person get killed by a smoke grenade, and that was a LONG time ago.

I once killed someone with a smoke grenade. I was on allied team on flash, I went to throw a smoke nade out of the far door of the hotel, as i released it an axis player walked out in front of the doorway and got hit by the smoke nade and died. Though, it registers as a suicide, so you don't get credit for the kill.

lol, players on axis were howling. honestly, it was the most fun in a 5 min. span I've had on dod in ages.
