AWP vs. Scout

Depends; Well AWP is stronger and more accuret but is like the "Noob tube" sniper. Scout is long ranged and close but lighter but less accuret so it looks like a tie i'd pick any one.

I'dhave to go with azn modern warfare 2 here snipers in this game are just terrible so spraying is better but not rly too bursting works best.

the 2 snipers look fine but im glad the auto sniper and the awp are restricted cause pubs overuse the snipers. Scouts are just fine

whoever thinks awp is hard to use or isn't accurate or whatever, all you need to do is make sure you are not moving AT ALL when you shoot it. so stop, then shoot, and wherever you are aiming the bullet will go no matter what.
pointless to crouch because it doesn't add any accuracy, you just need to stop moving

sniping in general takes skill
otherwise awp is much easier to use than scout because you do not need to hit them in the head for 1 hit kill, also its 100% accurate. scout is not...its actually quite inaccurate, and requires a handful of luck at long range.
whoever said awp was inaccurate in this thread needs to stop moving before they shoot it, as long as you are not moving it is 100% accurate. scout you can move while you shoot but its never 100% accurate unless you crouch. it is actually quite inaccurate if you aim at one spot, and fire continuously at it...you'll notice how bad it is (give it a try down the hallways of highschool)
every private lesson i give i demonstrate this.

so sniping? takes lots of skill (meaning to use awp and or scout effectively)
awp vs scout = awp is easy to use but obviously much better to get kills with since you don't need headshots...anything above the legs will kill. scout is harder to use because you need to hit them in the face, or you're pretty much dead...but its much more fun to use, and makes you look extremely leet. reason being if you get killed while using a scout you can just say, so what im using a scout..pfft...but if you own with it you look like a god

edit: also in pub situations scout>awp by FAR because if awp is available, its quite literally the only weapon people use...which makes it the most annoying weapon in the game, because its all people use. Whats this? objective? no thanks, im awping

That would make the awp way too OP'd in comparison to other sniper rifles. Third and finally, the awp can still kill if aim below the waist. For example, I was on a server that allowed awps. I was shot once, in the lower left leg, for about 140 dmg!

LOL, kk 1st/ AWP IS!! 100% accurate standing still, no debate, it how the gam e was made.
2nd/ The scout is cheaper and has SOME accuracy while moving, and is accurate in no scope (which AWP ISNT!!) so thats how it makes it fairer, but AWP cost more money is the main factor in scrims.
3rd/ Leg shots dont do more than 90 or so dmg, it impossible, again, just trhe way the game was made =)

ahhh the age old question. even though i do use the scout in pub severs because its more fun to use, i use the awp in scrims and ranked matches when i used to play them a lot.

well lets just put it this way, for you people who 'think' an awp is 'noobish', think about this.

you are playing a ranked game or for money, some times A LOT of money. im going to go with something that can hit multiple people, and also on top of that a one hit kill.

im sorry, but i have never, ever seen anyone who scrims/rank matches use scouts. the only time i see any of them use scouts is in a pub.

so yea, before you say its a 'noobish' gun, the top ranked teams uses them, the ones who play for money for a living. why dont you ask them if its noobish for them :3

because really, only 'noobs' cry about awps when i put them down with it, only good players go nice shot, good game.
