Just wondering which guys find easier or better?
This includes scrims and small servers, because this is where it is a real test?
AWP is heavier and slower but more damage.
Scout is quicker and lighter.
Just give me your thought =)

Niether cuz snipers are my born enemy, cuz while im spraying a sniper kills me, and i cant use one unless i practice my whole life.

i definantly love the scout more than the AWP because it can give heavy damage and is quicker

Eh i like the Scout because it actually takes some skill to use, it isn't just point and shoot. It is also nice since you cannot hear it across the entire map.

well i would rather use a scout than a awp because it is way more accurate and very lightweight just in case i need to get a getaway, awp is just well to inaccurate for me

Scout increases habit to get headshots, AWP encourages noob play.

Nuff said.

Actually, I see pros using the AWP all the time. I have never once seen a professional gamer use a scout in a real match. Sorry.

Oh really? The world of CSS somewhat confuses me somewhat....

A pro using a noobish one hit kill weapon...

bah, I don't want to go into this argument for the 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000(stopped here to stop spam)th time.

i see your point tidus and chips =) i think maby the pros use awp's to make sure they get the kill, maby practice with both. I personally think the scout is more skilled and as i am practicing scout, easier as long as you get good with it =) keep the shoices coming =)

AWP is not n00b play.

People who don't know how to use an AWP get 1 kill a round with it. It takes skill to get 2-4 kills a round. PFFT.

this is the kind of thing i was hoping for, not just evryone going AWP is noob cannon xD thanks, keep it up scouters and AWP'ers

Well, I think that the AWP and the scout both have their disadvanteges. Like, the scout does not kill instantly, but you can move around and still have a decent amount of accuracy, but with the AWP, you can target anywhere on the enemy and expect a 80% chance of an instant kill, but due to its heavy weight, and recoil, you really have to make a habit of standing around, which makes you easy to be hit. But yes, it depends on what the player likes.

awp.
try killing 5 people with a scout and not dying.
as "noob" as a one shot kills on paper, actually using and "perfecting" the awp is much harder than you think. yes its slow but you can get so fast with it that it doesnt matter. the scout was the first sniper i used and i loved it but for just wrecking teams, nothing beats the awp.
**also the awp has its places, not on our servers. a good awper can clear a server out real fast. it is unfair when your just looking to have fun playing in a public server.

The AWP takes way more skill to aim because the recoil is HUGE, despite scoping vs. non scoping, the AWP takes a lot more skill. The reason people dislike the AWP and think the scout is better because they despise the one shot one kill.

In moments of desperation (i.e. getting stormed and I'm one of the last men) The awp is never a disadvantage. If you need kills quick and easy use an AWP>

However, My main gun is the scout. Over m4, over ak, over all except maybe deagle. If I'm playing a server that DOES allow awps and autos, i will use a scout, I will use an awp to out-snipe other guys, and occasionally an auto ONLY ON CT just for fun. Autos are inaccurate. T auto also takes FAR too long to reload.

The good tips for the scout are obvious. To begin with, its the only sniper allowed on eGO servers.
Second, it is light and quick. You can actually run and move with it. With an AWP, you can move but you're essentially a sitting duck.

Scouts are faster overall. Reload, draw, and firing. They don't epically miss at bad times even when scoped. The fact that it takes two shots to kill on body shots doesn't matter. 1, its still 1-shot with no armour sometimes. 2, if you can still dodge and take cover, you can still kill without getting hit. You can also jump out and get an accurate shot better than with an awp.

Another ENORMOUS plus for the scout is that the double scope isn't a stupid 5000x magnification. You can aim well with either scope for the scout.
An awp has a single scope that is either far too minor, or too major, and you can't back out. the double scope makes it so you cannot get any peripheral, and it is more difficult trying to follow a person's line of movement, and is stupid. In that same point, it is much easier to aim for the head with a scout rather than just seeing part of a body and firing, so overall skill is built more too

Noscope wise, an AWP is good if you're turning corners in close-quartes, because the random shot will most likely hit somebody coming around that same corner no matter where on your screen. If you need to noscope from afar, a scout is better.

Skill-wise, it takes a better person to handle an AWP properly than a scout.
Tactical/team/realism-wise, a scout takes more overall skill, whereas an AWP you just need to be able to control the aim/shot.
Oh, and scout's don't give away your position.

I will always take a scout over an awp, with the two exceptions of zombies and jail, where power is essential.

Scrims: AWP - Critical part of gameplay, a good AWPer is key for most maps.

Pubbing: Scout - More fun to just mess around with.

Both have their roles, and uses.
