is this good? i can get it for $40, and i wouldnt mind a new keyboard. just wondering.
P.S. this is not a "I am getting a new keyboard" post, just wondering if this keyboard in particular is any good.

Yeah this keyboard is good.... most keyboards are good...lol..... The nicer ones can go from good to great... But this is good keyboard.... My thoughts any way...

i was going to buy that one till i got a great deal on a G15

i saw the ABS one in store and it is really nice (and heavy)

Yeah the g15's are getting cheaper. They are very nice keyboards btw, i would highly recommend it if you are willing to stretch your budget.

yeah if you can find a used 1st gen G15 (the blue kind) it is more or less the best keyboard in existence. I have one and it has lasted about twice as long as any other part in my computer.

I'm definitely loving my G15V1... It hasn't had any problems, and I don't know what I'll do when it stops working, I've had it since it was brand new :O.

My G15 v1 died on me :( I am now using a Logitech Illuminated KB as it came with a 3 year warranty.

Looks to be a decent keyboard, but honestly it seems a little expensive for such a simple keyboard. I have to agree with everyone else and say stretch that budget a little, or make some more cash and get a great keyboard that will last.

I noticed that the that keyboard you linked is also called a "Heavy Duty" keyboard, a lot of the time that means the make is a little more durable, and i've noticed that the heavy duty keyboards I've used at landscape centers and construction sites tend to have really tough key presses, which in turn slow down your keystrokes, which isn't good for gaming at all. You might wanna keep looking for a deal if you can't find the extra cash for a gaming keyboard.

the only reason i asked is because of how cheap it is.
and that is the most useful thing i have heard about it yet.
so its a no-go.
thanks for the input guys.

Pssh, just means you can lift it during respawn and get those biceps goin. ;D

lol thats what i have my 30-ish pound dumbbell for, it just sits right next to my desk and i pump a few in between load screens and respawns lol

That one is almost exactly the same as mine and I've never had problems with mine. I've even punched it (very hard!) a few times in massive frustration and it works fine as if nothing happened (except the stands on the back for angling it are gone of course). It doesn't break easily is what I'm trying to say.

But the price is a bit high... I don't know if I would pay for it to be honest.

Dont buy this keyboard. It's only one key allowed meaning if you pressed control and w, w would not work.

I've got a G11 keyboard. I didn't care for all the G15 hype and everything about that LCD screen on it.
I just wanted some media function keys, a blue glow, and some customization that I could use (but still haven't) ...

I would say that the keyboard you posted looks DECENT. I've seen the same quality for MUCH less than that though, so I would maybe look into something else if you haven't already. Check eBay, most things that are not advertised as new are still good. Mine wasn't new, but there's nothing wrong with it at all... someone probably just bought it and then changed their mind or something.

how would you do capital letters if this is the case? or a question mark for that matter?

EDIT: you forgot to read the manufacturer's response to that particular review on newegg.
