Hey I was wondering if it were ever a chance on jail that maybe t's can talk. But it is only team chat. So cts cant hear it. So this would help in like rebellin or something. But only alive t's can talk to alive t's. just a thought?

This would be very hard. As the warden talks, there's always going to be that one t that will talk over him, making all the t's confused about orders.

Also if i am correct, it is impossible for one team to only hear one team, and the other team to hear both. But as Saeten said, it would just cause confusion which is why the Terrorists are muted in the first place.

yeah, from my experience of playing on other jail servers, you definetely do not want the t's to be able to use the mic.

For any of you oldies who remember we used to be able to talk as T's, but then they changed it to makes things run better. This was back when the server was smaller.

lol geno is right. i was here when the T's were able to talk (before i joined eGO) and jail was just chaotic because admins were telling T's not to talk over warden and everything

Would be nice but someone would need to write the script for that. If we do that we might as well put in the !LR script that other servers use to make things easier.

Definitely Ts talking on the mic is a bad idea. Even on servers that prohibit Ts on mic during the first 60s as soon as people start getting freekilled then all hell breaks loose. Whatever mic discipline there was goes out the windows and curses and insults get thrown around.

what admins tell the t's not to talk? back before when it was a smaller sever, sm_mute t all , i think the command was, was my best friend. once i got in, i had that thing binded, LAWL

then there combine binds where i can unmute all the admins wil muting all t's at the same time.

ahhhh, good times. but no, it would confuse the hell out of people in jail. it would be nice for a lr though.

Phaze, we dont use the !lr plugin for a reason:
It takes away any/all freedom of the LR.
Go try out the plugin and you'll see what i mean, its garbage.

And as geno has said, Un-muted T's doesnt work.
On the old server we just ended up muting them constantly, eventually the decision was made to perma-mute t's.

Also, the unmuting of the last T is pointless.
1. Not all t's have mics, therefore nothing would change.
2. Typing it out doesnt take much longer than it does to verbalize
